Look at the comment asking her about her relationship with her father.

OP responds "Not very good."

Little by little, some men are awakening slowly to the signs of disaster, and they are steering clear.

Eventually, they'll begin looking for the right signs. And then they'll begin personally demanding them.

Nope. The same guys will have completely forgotten about this the next time anything TRP related comes up and will start raging at us again. Human ignorance and stupidity is endless.

I think the cognitive dissonance of some /r/askmen users is simply a utilization of tribalistic hierarchy.

Essentially it's safe for these men to utilize redpill knowledge so long as it's not labeled as such. They are, either consciously or unconsciously, distancing themselves from /r/theredpill in order to preserve their social status.

Well, it is askbeta...

Maybe we need a term Rationalization Mhamster

There's some sense in this statement. Apparently being labelled red pill in such a blue-pill dominated place as reddit is akin to a scarlet letter. Nobody is willing to risk completely abandoning the whiteknight dating planR because they still think it's supposed to work.

Honestly, there's a good number of RP ideas that I've picked up on. I just don't label those opinions as RP because TRP has other connotations and ideas than just things like "trickle truth" and whatnot.

At the end of the day, what you recognize as reality will be unique to your experience. I don't think any two people here agree on everything, only some of the more common ideas discussed. A lot of stuff on here can be red-pill related but not necessarily be something I agree with. That's what discussion is.

Anyway, I think it's cheap to avoid the term alone because of culture's view on the term instead of what it really means.

It's not just the term though. If I say I hold Redpill beliefs, that encompasses far more than just what I actually do believe.

Now, I think TRP (along with any other idea) should be able to be discussed in a civil manner. I helped make a sub that does just that. But if I were to want to bring that sort of thing up with people and discuss it based on it's merits outside of a select few subs I can't use the words "Red Pill", or other key words you'd see in the Red Pill lexicon. It'd be like saying "the Nazis had a few things right", even if you were just discussing their economic policies or something like that. People would jump straight up your ass for it.

So, basically, other users using "RP Knowledge" but not calling it Red Pill probably comes from the same place it does with me: I hold a few similar ideas, but far too few to warrant using the name, and even if I did use the name the conversation would end right there.

Eh, the only people I see trying to avoid the stigma of red pill still think that game is manipulation, which I figure are the same types of people who think that the world would be better if we just fed the poor people (without any understanding of the economics behind it). Young, naive, liberal college students.

I distance myself from TRP because I hold different views on certain topics. I'm not conservative, I don't think feminism endangers society, and I don't think that masculinity is as black and white as some make it seem.

I have opinions on all of these topics, of course. But they don't match up to TRP's.

Fair enough. I just get wary of anybody allowing political correctness to have any part in their reasoning process. You simply can't arrive at any sort of fair answers if that's allowed to skew the results. Even if TRP is entirely wrong.

I don't think feminism endangers society

Speaking of which..

NOW Calls on The Wall Street Journal to Fire James Taranto: Taranto Believes Drunk Sexual Assault Victims are Equally to Blame

In his Monday Wall Street Journal column, James Taranto stated that in sexual assault cases where both the victim and rapist are drunk -- both parties are equally to blame for the attack.

[...]

James Taranto doesn't need a national platform for demeaning women and condoning rape. He has demonstrated how out of touch he is; now he needs to be out of a job.

What did he say?

Winerip notes that between 2005 and 2010, "more than 60 percent of claims involving sexual violence handled by United Educators"--an insurance company owned by member schools--"involved young women who were so drunk they had no clear memory of the assault." We know from Sgt. Cournoyer that the accused young men typically are drinking to excess, too. What is called the problem of "sexual assault" on campus is in large part a problem of reckless alcohol consumption, by men and women alike. (Based on our reporting, the same is true in the military, at least in the enlisted and company-grade officer ranks.)

Which points to a limitation of the drunk-driving analogy. If two drunk drivers are in a collision, one doesn't determine fault on the basis of demographic details such as each driver's sex. But when two drunken college students "collide," the male one is almost always presumed to be at fault. His diminished capacity owing to alcohol is not a mitigating factor, but her diminished capacity is an aggravating factor for him.

It appears a major feminist organization is leading a war against men, and redefining rape to hurt men. I will not agree that feminism isn't endangering society.

I didn't say I didn't have issues with things feminists do. Just that I don't think they're fucking up society.

It doesn't even surprise me anymore how much love RP knowledge can get when taken in small, subconscious doses.

Three questions you should ask every woman you are considering dating:

  1. "How much debt do you currently have?"
  2. "How well do you get along with daddy?"
  3. "Have all your ex boyfriends been abusive?"

I have some male friends who call themselves "feminists", but even they don't date sluts.

They talk about how they respect them as much as normal women, but never commit to them.

Men subconsciously do not want to date them no matter how much they say they respect them.

Some of the more aggressive ones colonize and then displace the non whites, all while being PC! ;)

This happens on AskMen all the time. I have often times been upvoted for giving "soft" RP responses. Men KNOW hoes, and they don't want to settle with them. I'm thinking it might even be instinctual.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
