No, but I never expect them to be anything other than what they are.

Women are always an "add-on" to whatever I am doing in life. If a woman can add value to my life (regardless of whether I am banging her or not, although that is one form of value), then I am willing to keep her around. But they are never the primary focus of my life.

To be honest, yes, I do. My ex-wife cheated on me. While that brought me here and ultimately into the light of truth, I continue to struggle with the fear that it will happen again. Because of TRP, I can rationally understand that hypergamy (cheating) is woman's nature, but knowing that doesn't help me sleep at night. I'm sure all of this is due to scarcity mentally and so on. I see where I need to be, in my thinking, like many of the men here, I just have a ways to go before I get there. Living plugged-in for so freaking long is difficult to unlearn, but I am so thankful for TRP for showing me the way.

Yes except it's not crippling.

I no longer look for (or trust) any signs of female commitment or fidelity. Beyond that, I'm happy to "trust and verify" for a time, in order to have good relations and sex.

But I've always got a backup plan, I always expect it to be over, I'm no longer "looking for the one", I don't expect her to have any loyalty.

I start trusting her less and less to the point where I end up breaking things off. Is this coming from possessiveness? Unicorn dreaming? Beta behavior? I don't care at all in the beginning but once we start getting close it begins to go down hill.

The closer you get to a woman the more you get dragged down into the shitshow that is her life before she uses you as a stepping stone to try and survive (at your expense).

The trick is not to get too close to the sun, Icarus.

Mistrust of women comes from the fact that they now have the power to ruin innocent men's lives (by false accusation, or other means such as having our children without our consent) with total impunity. Nobody should have that kind of power; no one can ever be trusted with it; and no one who has it or wants to have it can be trustworthy.

Of course, most RedPillers discover groups like this after learning that lesson the hard way.

well there could be several reasons for that.

1- the pre-existing feeling of fear doubt that things will go down the hill,these feeling may play the key role in crippling mistrust

2-mismatched pair. I think for things to work out in a way u want there must be a mutual connection in doing things, like if u did something lets say that she is not in particular happy with it but in the end things will work out if there is some mutual understanding which only can come with some with a mutual connection.

3-Obsession is a condition in which u just want things like at any cost. sometimes this cost may be a relationship. Possessiveness is a type of obsession.

self control and with being truthful and trusting the feeling of gut may solve your problem
