In a mainstream, BP relationship, I'd say that's a big issue. Those relationships require somewhat full exclusivity to have a shot at working.

there's a really big difference between a plate/FWB having orbiters and an LTR having an emotional affair. if she's a plate, you don't want to have a close emotional connection with her and you don't want to be doing a lot of platonic-type activities with her. so if there is some dorky blue pill beta dude volunteering to listen to her bitching and driving her around running errands that's great because there will be less pressure on you to do that shit. you're the alpha fucks, he is the beta bucks.
