Nope.... Dread is the only option until you go nuclear. After nuclear its done. If she wants space, the correct answer is "That's not an option. If you want to leave that's fine though" When she says "you don't get to tell me what to do." or similar, agree, but explain you get to pick what you do, and the the two options she gets to pick from are to have sex right now or pack. She will usually pick packing, but then come and say sorry and have sex.

Any willingness on your end to keep chasing her will only solidify her rationale to stay further away from you.
Go radio silence. If she really likes you, she'll come back to you. If she doesn't, then you still win because you realize she didn't really feel attracted to you in the first place and you live too awesome a life to care about that shit. You just move on to a better girl.
Honestly man, this is a case of one-itis - it keeps your mind and spirit in chains.
T I'll leave you a quote from a great philosopher in the 90s named Biggie Smalls. He wrote, "I don't chase em, I replace em".

Fighting becomes every day habit and then she throws at you "I want some space/distance/similar" excuse. Say that you want to try for this relationship but you are not needy.
It doesn't matter what you want to try for. If she says this, the relationship is doomed. You need to focus on a clean exit now.
Of course, you will not listen to me. You're not ready to admit to yourself that it's over. But it is.

I believe I am ready and I understand now that my opinion does not matter. I just want to know what I did, so I do not repeat it in the future
Also how a clean exit would look like ? No contact ? I do not want to have the other person wondering about my sudden change of behaviour If i go no contact.

Polite, but distant. Firm, and as quick as possible.

The best way to handle it is to become extremely laconic all of a sudden.
In you heart you may feel like writing her a noble essay about how you appreciate and honour her decision, but will go on with your life, but you still want this relationship to work out.
Instead what you actually say to her is: "k".
It says all the things the essay would've said, and more.
K? Just "k"?? That's all he said???????
You ignore her attempts to get a "rise" out of you, that are sure to follow. Let her send insults, tears, whatever she wants to send. Wait it out, until you hear a clear submissive tone: "I'm sorry, I'm such a bitch, please don't leave me." That's where you get to say - "sweetie I adore you, what're you talking about. Why're we always fighting like this? You need to come over and get in the bath with me."
"I got bubbles."

Give it a week or two then recalibrate from there. Pretty sure she'll text you within that time so it's kind of a non issue.

Think of her saying "I want some space" as basically her saying "I need you to go radio silent".
So do exactly that. Go radio silent, find shit to do, and she'll eventually start chasing again. If she doesn't, you have your answer.
Generally when a chick is asking for space after constant fighting, it's because she needs time to sulk and kind of let the emotional grudge and recoup energy before she can continue with you.
When I've asked for "space" it was always due to the partner being overly clingy, not giving me space to breathe, and just being overall emotionally exhausted by them to the point where even when they were trying to be nice, I would just feel annoyed by them.

Seriously though, breaking up sucks but what are you going to do? Dwell on it or go better yourself through reading/lifting/eating right.
