Don't qualify, don't give her useful information. You are thinking PUA style as in what is the next step in the flow chart, what is the appropriate reaction. Start thinking red pill: Where do I want that conversation to go.

/u/oldredder for example wants to steer the conversation into meeting up. Another direction could be getting her number first. You could be blunt/ cocky about it and make a transaction out of it "Give me your number and I'll tell you" or you could go silly "I can predict the future" "What do you see?" "You giving me your number in the next message".

You don't need to deflect here, you need to agree and amplify - amplify the innocuous/pointless questions with absurdity.

"I'm a pornstar some months of the year" etc, have fun with it.

My favorite example of how to do this would go to /u/Tombreck2 explaining in many previous threads how he's had a plate for 9(?) months who still doesn't know what his day job is, and he's got some hilarious bullshit answers he keeps feeding her.

If it was in person it would be a perfectly legit question. It's Tinder itself that makes me doubt it as sincere. Tinder is for hookups as we all know. It's not like it's unfair to give a small bit of qualification given that in-person she'd just see you and read some of this directly off how you dress, walk, speak & your visual presentation of self-confidence - assuming you have it. Still, it's Tinder.

I know the below comments are all about amused-mastery deflection but sometimes a legit question is just a legit question.

If you tell her nothing at all what do you expect? Deflection revealing nothing is still nothing, just some emotional impressions / reflections on her part. In-person you'd want to build both value (sexual) and comfort (trust) for a hookup-set so what's missing over Tinder that needs to be filled in to "line up with" how this would be done in person?

I guess you'd want to meet in person to really get that to work so what you'd say on Tinder should somehow move right into actually meeting so you can do that.

Going against the grain here obviously but how about "It's one interesting story but one best told here..." and suggest a place to meet to actually get your chance to be in person to work real PUA magic.

Maybe she bites, maybe not. If the place you choose is public enough to give her the comfort to go in, that should do it, while leaving options open to build more trust/comfort and value/sexual appeal in person so you can obviously head to any other place later with her if she's now interested enough.

This is an incredibly common shit test used by girls on Tinder with many different variations.

They usually spring this after you have caught her attention, but she is not yet 100% sold on going out with you. Often girls will counter with something like this right after you ask for the date.

If you get this it is a good sign. It means if you pass one last hurdle you are good to go. You just need to avoid coming off as a boring beta. If can make her laugh with your response that is ideal. You can even be OK with a sincere answer if it is high smv signaling.
