Organize your thoughts before pissing them on to the internet.
Is your wife enthusiastic and involved during sex at times when she's not exhausted?
Is she actually working hard with the kid and actually exhausted, and this isn't just some lame excuse to try to dodge sex?
Are you the man of your house, the leader of your family, and your shit is taken care of, such that your wife admires and respects the hell out of you, is visibly excited to see you each day, responds positively to your every word and touch, and can't wait to jump into bed with you, except when she's absolutely wiped out from child care duties?
Assuming the answers to 2-4 favor your wife, I'd say that sex-on-demand, even if it's lazy starfish sex, if it is honestly all that she has to give, is at least an effort. I don't know why you're screwing around using your wife's uninvolved body as a source of friction instead of handling shit around your house in a manner that she can actually get enough rest. Settling for shitty sex is for losers.
However, be wary of this stage of your marriage. Young children is the time when wives make a power-grab and turn the tables regarding sex and leadership.
