I spilled the beans and told my wife almost everything about Red Pill except seduction, PUA, solipsism, and treating women like children. Everything else was on board and I even told her all about "Alpha" behaviors and Shit Tests (except the proper responses- she also read about them on her own) and have even rubbed it in about AF/BB which explains why women are NEVER happy and why they are so hypergamous (always looking to trade up). This was illustrated by her best friend who left her boring Blue Pill husband and family to live with an alcoholic who treats her HORRIBLY. Yep, RP theory explains that exactly and it cannot be denied.

To be fair (to me) she read MMSL and MAP and NMMNG just to "figure out what I was trying to do" and she has initiated as many Red Pill discussions as I have. Also, she is definitely a RP woman with a submissive streak- one of those women pining for their man to 'man up' so she has a lot of respect for Red Pill theory.

Not the words- but the effect it has had on her husband.

Don't talk to your wife about RP unless she brings it up first and only consider it if she is a RP woman who WANTS her husband to 'man up.' If you want to talk about the Red Pill, definitely avoid insulting women in general or feeding into her natural tendency to take the side of team woman. If she expresses a desire to be a better wife- and if you have been blowing them away anyway- I think you can let her in on Shit Tests. My wife almost stopped them when she was made aware of this awful habit of women.

For most men (who have not written a book about the topic and are not a moderator for Married Red Pill) it is very, very risky to talk about the Red Pill with your wife. She may reject the entire ideology. She may use the knowledge to block your responses or to deride you for following mith-og-en-y.

Even with my positive experience, I don't recommend it for 99.5% of guys.

However, I also don't think her knowledge of the tactics attenuates the visceral physiological response of attraction. If you know a girl is wearing a girdle and a bra that pushes up her breasts it doesn't make her any less attractive.

I wouldn't hide the books but if asked I wouldn't get too deep. Just say it looked interesting.

You shouldn't really care what your wife thinks about your reading material. I say this with love bro

I'll be the first here. When I got into all this, I was upfront and out in the open about it. But to be fair, I was only in a Scenario 1 situation.

I personally felt that in the context of my relationship, overt communication about some RP principals was going to be of benefit. I gambled correctly. And yet... I don't really bring it up anymore because actions speak louder than words. Plus, I have developed my OI to the point that if I honestly give it my best shot and she's still not interested... time to move on. Luckily that has not come to pass.

As for books: my wife rolled her eyes, but nevertheless watched me read Bang, Day Bang, Men on Strike. The rest were on PDF and out of sight.

My advice in this arena: don't mention RP unless you have a pretty strong existing frame. Even then, do so at the 40,000 foot level, not the detail level. Pick and choose the concepts you want her to understand, only so she'll buy into them. If you don't have the frame or if your woman is not that reasonable: see Rule #1.

This question has popped up for me, as recently as this week.

My wife knows I'm doing this, and that I'm waking up. But I've been slow and clumsy in my growth. This has caused her stress and doubt at times. Although a normal process for any textbook couple, it's by that standard that I suggest my pronounced stumblings.

She is threatened by this of course, but I've maintained transparency throughout the entire process. (This is not a throwaway account)

This certainly makes gaming more difficult, and she does feel somewhat manipulated at times. But she is my closest equal, and her perspective on the world entices me.

My frame is mine, and is slowly growing and defining itself, but it is also parallel to her's and I'd like to keep their wavelengths somewhat copasetjc.

Her being not only part of the change but also aware of it, helps ground me and makes the success more honest and real.

I can think of no greater challenge nore any greater reward, than to be the best I can with her assistance. She is my partner after all, and my greatest resource.

To actively keep it from her, or work so hard to keep her in the dark, would take away much time and valuable resources from the proper focus of this mission: a better me. It invests in her(and my old) original frame, that we are all trying to break away from here @Mrp. I need to move forward with everything I got.

If this were r/RP, then sure. Do what you want. Play a girl like another plate. But here! @MRP, we are all fully invested in our FAMILY. The whole enchilada and there are no shortcuts or easy answers.

I never talk about RP with my wife. Never.

First, it's an exercise in discipline for me.

Second, we live in a BP-town. There is hate for the manosphere and RP.

Third, my wife is very sharp and try to use it against me. AWALT. She's also an executive at a big company, with people reporting to her, etc. So she has this idea of herself as an empowered feminist, even though she loves when I lead our marriage (at home and in bed).

Fourth, I don't want to talk about it. This is a refuge, for only me to know. Not for her. It's off limits and I like it that way.

Fifth, if we ever got divorced, any knowledge that I was on the manosphere / RP / etc. would be used against me in a court of law. Why risk that?

I dont talk RP specifics at this time, but I'm not afraid to. Its like illusions, even when most people know how they work, they still fall for it. However, don't take that too literally, I'm not trying to compare theory to parlor tricks. However, I am pretty open about my views on feminism and social dynamics, gender roles etc.. I get irritated when men arnt open on these topics but I understand it as at times I do it myself. My wife is what many would call an RPW, and as such openly admits to many ideas that correspond to theory.

Here I am, trying to figure out a way to talk to my husband about it. If I try to tell him to check out RP, I'm afraid he will see it as me trying to control his behavior and essentially blaming him for the state of our relationship. I read on RPW that if you start being submissive, non argumentative, taking care of all house needs, etc... he will fall into the role naturally. Does this sound correct?

I just had a change of policy on this topic.

I used to be very secretive and non-communicative about where I was getting the ideas for all these "changes" I'm making. I've talked more with my wife about men's rights and casually analyzed the relationships of our friends and families. I was open about getting NMMNG and even read it in front of her.

I still don't talk about RP around her, but things changed during a phone conversation just now where we hashed out what was probably The Main Event lat Friday. I recommended she read NMMNG. I believe this will give her a good perspective on where I'm coming from. She's intelligent and can see things rationally slightly better than the average Western woman. I'll keep y'all updated if the result is worth mentioning.
