How do you frame dating when separated?

Reddit View
October 23, 2018

Not sure what to do about this. Going on a date in the next couple days with a girl and I don’t know if I should be up front about it before or just put it to the side for a while. Either way, I’m just looking to have fun so I don’t want to hurt my chances. Anyone have experience with this?

Plus, if she wants to come back to my place, she cants because the ex still lives her. Good thing this other girl has her own place

“I expect everyone our age to have a little bit of baggage.

Just know that my baggage is mine, yours is yours and there’s no need to discuss it between us.”

Now tell me about XYZ.

I expect everyone our age

What are you dating old witches for?

[–]red-sfpplusHard Core Red7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

I have been through this before in a previous post.

Dated women all over the age spectrum.

I like them age comparable.

[–]TaipanshimshonRed Beret6 points7 points  (8 children) | Copy

Don’t hide it. But don’t mention it till it comes up.

It’s just a fact of life

[–]friendandadvisor0 points1 point  (7 children) | Copy

Well, I think that his main problem should be addressed: He's got no place to fuck. When the conversation goes further, he sort of has to admit that he can't go home because his wife still lives there.

[–]TaipanshimshonRed Beret0 points1 point  (6 children) | Copy

Faggot logistics.

Bang her in her place.

Bang her when the wife isn’t home.

Get a hotel room.

You got problems ? I got solutions.

[–]friendandadvisor0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy

Oh, yeah, to be sure; however, I'm reading his post as "How do I break it to her". One can't skirt this issue, IMHO. Could have been wrong. (Further, had I known that it was JTS5000, I wouldn't have posted to start with. This guy is living in a world far, far away from the realm of reason.)

[–]TaipanshimshonRed Beret-1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy

Ok. So. Stop. Being. A. Faggot.

The dude in question is trying to smash outside of marriage.

Either hide it. Fully.

Or be nonchalant about it as a fact of life. You’re not trying to wife these random chics up right ?

Right ?

[–]friendandadvisor0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

OH, I don't give a shit if he fucks the new chick AND his wife or the neighbor's chicken. I'm just seeing that he has a fundamental problem: He will need a place to bang the slut, and sometime the question "why not your place" will come up. He needs to know how to deal with the question, which will entail him answering the question. I know, I know, a REAL HUGE DICKED ALPHA WILL JUST FUCK HER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET IF HE FUCKING FEELS LIKE IT, but, let's play like he needs an answer to the question he is asking. All of the answers seem to be "Fuck her at X, Fuck her at Y, Fuck her at Z", rather than giving him an answer to his question.

Your need to help him deer to some girl is cute

Hie thee home, boy!

“Why not at your place “

“I don’t want to”

But really the dude should be able to move the conversation in any direction he wants pre emptively.

And if he feels like saying “ I’m in the middle of a divorce / married - so my place isn’t good “ works just fine.

What’s your problem ?

[–]runnowxxx4 points5 points  (4 children) | Copy

good luck! glad to hear u”re moving on!

Goddamn it. I've talked to you about whole words. That's twice just today. Those short words are the starfish of individual replies. It also shows what a clusterfuck the inside of your mind is. Start typing whole words to show me (and yourself) that you can actually think in whole words.

Get off my lawn.

Now imagine teaching 30 of these 19 year old chucklefucks at a state university in a course with an active "writing component."

They can't pay enough to adjunct these courses.

I feel your pain. Things like that (and general leftist shitbaggery) is why I stay far far away from the Academy.

[–]screechhaterRed Beret2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

I’m unattached.

After that, STFU.

Part of your path is to a bit mysterious. But you already knew that from the fucking sidebar. Right ?

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yes, the sidebar developed the mind and the lifting the body. Mrp was a great life experience for me

Redirect conversation to talk about her. She doesn't really want to talk about you anyway. She just does that to be polite. She really just wants all the attention on her.

But let's be honest with you: You are going through a divorce. This is a fucking horrible time for you. You should probably be spending your time either at the gym or working on your career or raising your kids, if you have any. These three things will build you and give you long-term satisfaction, in a way that a relationship with a woman will not.

You are getting divorced now, so clearly the "'til death do us part" part of your vows didn't mean anything.

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 3 points4 points  (11 children) | Copy

Good call on redirecting the convo.

After she pulled that knife on me, everything went out the window including the vows. My life is great: career wise I’m killing it, going to the gym very regularly and almost at 6 pack abs level of body fat, money situation is going well, friends and family life best it’s been in a long time. Why not date around and have fun? I’m not looking for a relationship. Some ass though, fuck yeah.

I don’t think this is a horrible time in my life. The horrible time in my life was trying to save the marriage, once I checked out I did for good.

[–]FlyingSexistPig2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

You don't need my advice then.

Carry on good sir.

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

No I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Leading up to the divorce was one of the hardest times of my life. But since I checked out, my life has gotten exponentially better. I feel alive again, it’s tough to explain

[–]Redpillbrigade171 point2 points  (8 children) | Copy

If you’re in a good spot financially why not rent a place nearby (a one bedroom) which could be your own spot, for when you need it. One of your jobs as a man is to have the logistics part down pat when it comes to getting pussy. Nothing wrong with going to her place, but in my experience your frame is stronger and ability to influence events better if you’re on home turf.

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (7 children) | Copy

Totally agree. Since we own a house it would be essentially paying rent twice which is doable but I’d rather her move out. I’d stay in the house and maintain it but she can’t afford to leave either. Regardless, the living situation won’t come up in any date.

Buddy of mine that owns a restaurant has an empty house down the street. Maybe I should take him up on staying there a few months

[–]Redpillbrigade171 point2 points  (5 children) | Copy

Careful if you have kids. You don’t want to move out of marital residence as it may be used against your in a custody dispute.

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

No kids, thank the lord!

[–]Redpillbrigade170 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

Dude. No kids and you tolerate this woman pulling a knife on you?

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I filed for divorce a few weeks back. I can’t stand her anymore

[–]Redpillbrigade171 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

OK good luck.

[–]friendandadvisor0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Don't even start. He thinks he has a good grasp on how to deal with an knife wielding assailant by taking her to court-while sleeping in the same house with no locked doors.

Hmmm...a free house has been offered to me, and the house in which I live, currently, has a woman that has pulled a knife on me...hmmm....can't see a clear path here...I know! I'll post in askmrp! I only hope that one of them can give me a good idea...

[–]Redpillbrigade172 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

I read your past posts. If I were you I’d focus 100% of my energy on restarting my life proper and moving out on my own. Your marriage and living situation sounds troublesome and unsustainable to say the least. What are you doing building sand castles looking to date around in front of these waves which keep coming that is your home life?

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

There’s nothing wrong with having a little fun, but I understand your concerns.

The divorce is in progress and the only thing standing in my way is something I can’t control: selling the house.

Why would you ever qualify yourself to a woman? Isn't she trying out for your team? Adjust your mindset.

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Thanks, needed to hear that. What can she offer me is my mindset going into this

[–]nightmancommeth1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Lay it out on the table if things are going well. Just be upfront like "just a heads up as we seem to be hitting it off, I am currently separated/soon to be divorced. Just let them know she means nothing etc. Then change the convo.

I went through this same thing although I was living in my own place.

[–]jakethesnake5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

She has her own place so it’s all good. I got this

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
