IMO you're stuck in a pattern of attacking and retaliating with your ex, which is really just the same toxic relationship holding on. When you are truly indifferent, you'll finally be past this.

But the root of this isn't about whether she takes the car, it's about whether she retaliates for the school bus. So really you created this problem, friend.

And the school bus was petty, dude. Unless you caught her in the living room getting gangbanged by the UPS and FedEx guys, you are letting your revenge on her have way more space in your thoughts than it should.
