Bringing Current:

Finished NMMNG, Finished BluePillProf's book, 2/3rd through WISNIFG, 1/2 through MAP, found Iron John for two bucks at Goodwill and I'm about 1/3rd through that. About halfway through book of pook. After I finish those probably MMSL and GSM.

I'm convinced I made my own mess and responded by going too fast. Getting better at responding to shit tests. Need to get control of my emotions.

Bottom line: I've got a bunch of unclearness about improvement. Anyone who can recommend detailed links I can read through about this, I'd appreciate.

Details:

  1. Step 1: Get better at Shit Tests. I've been doing STFU + a little fogging, but it comes off as passively taking her stuff. It's way better than whining or crying or throwing a tantrum. I /think/ to make it active I should change the subject, right? Take control of the conversation. If I have nothing to say or it becomes clear she doesn't want to actually talk, I have better things to go do.

  2. Lifting. My trainer has recommended 2-3 sets of 12 reps for ~6 different machines. I find myself trying to get to 15 as this is where muscle failure occurs. I'm thinking: Smaller sets of more weight. Make sense?

  3. Social. I'm starting a poker game and planning to go fishing and shooting with some friends. Poker game will be end of august and we'll plan the rest from there. Maybe go shooting once before that. Am I moving too fast? I find the support of other men incredibly helpful.

  4. Style. Not ready for this yet, I think. I have bought a couple of shorts because I'm down a size - the old ones are starting to slide off my body. Does anyone have links to clothes to what women want? I expect to start studying this serious in ~Sept/Oct.

  5. Like the recent poster who cried when his wife did the dishes, I get emotional when I think of what might happen. I realize that I am a grown man, not some 9 year old boy whose Dog has died, that my tears are mourning for something dead. If I change, it might come back to life - if not, it doesn't matter, I'm going to pursue happiness. I think I'm mostly looking for advice to get to the acceptance part of mourning, past denial, anger, and grief.

thank you all.
