Gentlemen,

I want to run this by you guys to see if I'm actually being unreasonable. My LTR is doing a clinical internship that finishes in two weeks. She will then have a week off before her next clinical rotation begins. During this week off, she wants us to drive 4 hours away to visit her parents for a week (9 days if you count the weekends).

Now, I remember telling myself last time we visited her parents that I can tolerate being with her family for ~3 days before I start to lose my fucking mind. We take these week long trips every 3-4 months or so, so it's not too frequent. These trips take a toll on my sanity that usually ends up in a fight and an awkward drive home. My preference is we stay there for 3-5 days and leave, no matter how much her mom tries to guilt trip us (always does). I know my GF will then begin to victimize herself and say it's only every 6 months and she had a tough clinical rotation and just wants to spend time with her family.

I'm in graduate school and will be on break for two weeks. This will be my last extended break for a very long time. I want to spend this break relaxing and enjoy spending time with her.. not by listening to her redneck brothers talk about Nascar and rant about the Gobernment taking their money. I'm willing to give 3 days for this vacation, 5 at the absolute max. 9 days WILL result in me suspending my tolerance for bullshit and opt for a more pissed off/aggressive version of myself. I'm new to TRP and just found out about Married Redpill yesterday, so excuse my cluelessness on this subject, but how should I go about telling her this? Right now I default to one of two mechanisms, 1) Being overly passive and resentfully going along with the 9 day ride into insanity or 2) Be overtly obstinate and refusing to go altogether once she starts victimizing herself.
