Okay so I do understand what frame is. The rational male and BP profs videos do a good job of explaining it. I had no frame Pre RP. I was 100% in wifey's frame for many years for everything.

Since taking the pill I am building mine now. Lifting, started karate, planning our financial future, making a better life plan, but more so for me it was about becoming the judge of my own actions and being responsible and controlling my reality. I used to be easily influenced, not anymore. However I am struggling with how we as MRP guys implement frame in the marriage.

We (or I) can't be the leader all the time. There are areas that wifey is naturally better at, and even if I could lead these I simply lack the time to plan and do everything (house, self improvement, job, kids etc..) Now I know captain/first officer model allows for this. But.. I find when one of these areas gets busy (like recently lots of kids appointments) its obvious the control shifts and she is owning the frame. I am acting to support her but she is making the decisions, doing the planning and leading me and hence I become the first officer.

Now if the boiler broke, we had money issues or the like, that control would shift back to me for sure and she would do what I told her basically. Example, no more spend this month on non essentials... So it is a healthy balance in our case. We play to our strengths.

However I still can't help thinking that all this time I spend in her frame, she will be loosing desire for me. BP prof quote, "Her genuine desire for you, hinges on getting her to enter your frame." Being in her frame is a DLV behavior?

So how do you guys strike the balance/ solve this?
