The Kubler-Ross model is frequently highlighted as the general process an individual 'taking the redpill' goes through. This model has 5 distinct phases, with the last phase being full red pill status.

The first stage is denial. Of course, every man on some level acknowledges red pill, so every man has faced denial of red pill in their life. The easiest way to not deal with the realities of red pill is to believe they aren't true. We've all dealt with this ourselves, no need to talk further about it.

The second stage in anger. We're pretty familiar here with 'anger' here. New posters complain how frustrated they are with the truths of redpill and their sense of bitterness about the truth, lashing out at society, woman, beta enablers, whatever. While they need to suffer through their anger to wake up, letting the anger linger is detrimental to themselves and everyone else.

The third stage is bargaining. This is what I want to talk about in this thread, since it is the biggest danger someone who took the red pill can face. Individuals begin to convince themselves "if I pick up this tenant of TRP, I can still achieve oneitis". There's been a couple of posts like this here, the issue is that these individuals mistakenly believe they're red pill.

This is absolutely dangerous behavior. Effectively, an individual can end up having to through the five stages of grief all over again simply to break out of this particular bargaining phase. If they never get over this new 'denial' stage, they can get caught in a sort of purgatory, having a smug sense of superiority that alienates them from the rest of blue pill society without ever actually enjoying the benefits of redpill thinking.

Think of it like waking up from a nightmare. If you didn't end up sweaty and uncomfortable in your own bed, you were probably still sleeping.
