YAY! Can't wait to start this today.

Sex Challenge update: Hey everyone!!

Day 1: Took a nice long bath. Maybe gonna invest in some bath bubbles/oils but need to find some for sensitive skin. I break out for anything!

Day 2: Back rubs galore for my SO. :D

Day 3: Chocolates for the office (so I don't have to eat them at home)! Should have been day 4 but I needed these chocolates out of my house.

Day 4: I had a long talk with my stepmother about my childhood with her. Actually put her fears to rest with some things and I thought this might be appropriate for this challenge.

Day 5: Brought some clothes to Goodwill.

Day 6: Said 'thank you' to someone I don't like.

I actually started this challenge last week, and I'm doing them out of order. But these are my plans and what I have done so far!

Day 1 - Do something kind for yourself.

I actually have no idea what I'm doing for this yet. Lol

Day 2 - Do something kind for your SO or a guy your crushing on.

This week is out anniversary so I am taking him to a painting class on Friday.

Day 3 - Do something kind for a family member or close friend.

I'll invite some friends over for a home cooked meal.

Day 4 - Do something kind for a co-worker.

I baked cookies for all the poor souls that had to work with me on Black Friday.

Day 5 - Do something kind for a stranger (or donate to charity).

I also donated blood last Monday with American Red Cross. If you would also like to donate blood, please PM me. As a Red Cross employee, every donor that I recruit for this month my Dept head will match it with a $100 donation as well!

Day 6 - Do something kind for someone who you don't like.

This is another one I am clueless about.

Day 7 - Do something kind for the earth (pick up trash/recycle/plant something).

I'm planning on buying an office plant for my cubicle. Think of it as plant adoption!

Day 1 - Do something kind for yourself.

Hmm. I just bought myself a new backpack for our trip so I will count that - it was a really nice backpack. :)

Day 2 - Do something kind for your SO or a guy your crushing on.

Have a few ideas, but not posting because he knows my Reddit (I don't honestly know if he checks it, but we interact on other subreddits occasionally).

Day 3 - Do something kind for a family member or close friend.

My best friend is in the hospital again from another surgery, I'm going to see if the hospital will let me and her boyfriend bring her dog in to see her - she loves that dog like crazy. It'll be a lot of driving and time because she's in a special hospital almost 2 hrs from her home, and her home is an hour north of me.

Day 4 - Do something kind for a co-worker.

I don't really interact with my coworkers... Maybe I'll bring in a breakfast pizza or something?

Day 5 - Do something kind for a stranger (or donate to charity).

I've got a box of canned goods and clothing ready to go. :)

Day 6 - Do something kind for someone who you don't like.

I don't actually know anyone IRL that I don't like - any suggestions?

Day 7 - Do something kind for the earth (pick up trash/recycle/plant something).

I already recycle and can't keep plants alive for the life of me - seriously, I killed my poor cactus. Does just going out and appreciating nature count? Because I could do that, I'm due for a nice long trail walk with the doggo.

I think I will do a beauty treatment. "Me time" is a gift because it makes me prettier but it also relaxes me.

Hmm, maybe bake some cookies!

Day 3 - Do something kind for a family member or close friend.

Spa day for my mom. She works very hard & she deserves it!

Day 4 - Do something kind for a co-worker.

Again, with the baked goods!

Day 5 - Do something kind for a stranger (or donate to charity).

I am very active in charity and volunteering, perhaps I will volunteer on this day (I'll check my schedule).

Day 6 - Do something kind for someone who you don't like.

Ugh this is the hardest one! Any ideas?

Day 7 - Do something kind for the earth (pick up trash/recycle/plant something).

Easy! I've been organizing my workspace and have a bunch of things to throw out. Recycling bin it is!

REGARDING NEXT WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Would anyone like to do a squat or fitness challenge?! I asked this on Free Friday (but by the time I posted it was Sunday LOL so I don't think anyone saw it)

I really have enjoyed the challenge month. I'd love to see some more! Let's see, what might I do for this one:

Day 1 - Probably will count buying a new dress for the holiday party we are attending on Friday.

Day 2 - I think I'll pick him up from work one evening this week and bring the last CD of the audiobook we've been working through. With rush hour traffic, I bet we'll be able to listen to the whole thing.

Day 3 - My best friend has recently started a new job. I think I'll send her a small "go get it, girl!" package with some Vanilla tootsie rolls, a little cross stitch, some tea, and a nice handmade soap.

Day 4 - I have none currently! But I need to bake some cookies for J's co-workers, so perhaps that might count.

Day 5 - I hate to plan kind acts, so we'll see.

Day 6 - Hmm...

Day 7 - Seems like an excellent time to pick up the litter in our neighborhood. They recently replaced dumpsters with trash cans and there is trash everywhere!

I've really enjoyed the month of challenges, and i like this one especially. All of them have been fun to think about habits and try new things! Also sex :)

Awesome challenge! I won't respect the order though, since I don't often go out of the house, and I unexpectedly did the stranger and close friend ones on the same day. But it will definitely get done!

ETA: A challenge-themed month is AWESOME! I haven't written much on the threads but I still did the challenges, and it made me much more mindful of my attitude. As of now I don't have any challenge ideas though.

I can't do these in order of the days so I renamed them act 1, act 2 etc. according to the list in OP.

Act 1: I went to see Dermatologist. Ah, I was so in need of that, I have adult acne and my dermatologist is the only one who can keep it under control.

Act 2: I bought my bf and I matching Christmas calendars. He became so happy when I sent him the picture of those in the army.

Act 3: My sister is in a need for a break, so I'm taking her to see some stand up and have some sister time.

Act 4: For this one I have no idea, 'cause I mainly work alone as I'm stationed about 150km away from my co-workers. :D

Act 5: I participate on Christmas charities every year and will do so this year as well.

Act 6: I need to think about this one, it's the hardest of these, I don't really hang around people that I don't like.

Act 7: I bought environmentally friendly wrapping materials. Does this count? :D

I'll update, as I manage to fulfill these acts of kindness. I really like this challenge, you can do so much good, if you start looking around you.

Progress so far!

Day 1: Made myself a dinner that I really love and just... relaxed at home. It felt good.

Day 2: I went over to my SO's and made supper! I do this often, but I kicked it up a few notches: also surprised him with cookies (made the dough at home, baked at his place), changed into something sexy when he went to grab laundry, spoiled him in bed, etc. He's been having a crazy stressful week, and he was visibly more relaxed when I left. Went home with a spring in my step :)

Day 3: I was supposed to deliver a gift to someone, but it didn't work out. Will be rescheduling this. BUT I am seeing a friend tonight so I might brainstorm a way I can treat her to something!

Day 4: Made banana bread and brought it to work. I do this every so often when I get the baking itch but don't want said baked goods in my house, and it just warms my heart to see my colleagues happily munching on treats.

I love the challenges. My only feedback: I would love it if it were set up in a way that was like, "Here's the challenge, it starts in a week!" That would allow for a little more advance planning and thoughtfulness.

Update:

Day 1 - I got a wool dress and thermal leggings. My butt is less cold :)

Day 2 - I made Hubs special lunch of meat and potato pie (his favourite).

Day 3 - We visited Hubs Grandmother and took her a photo album

Day 4 - I agreed to swap some hours to help a coworker attend a school thing

Day 5 - Was on a mommy day, so didn't get much chance to help strangers, but i'll donate to www.humblebundle.com tonight!

Kindness is a value I hold very highly and it is a trait that my SO tells me often he values about me. It is not a passive trait and does require work though and so I am thrilled to see this as a challenge this week.

I have a couple things to add, if people maybe want ideas on what they specifically could do in-keeping with this challenge:

I want to plant (pun intended 🍒) a suggestion on an effective day 7 environment thing to do --- eating vegan is extremely kind to the planet and it would be an excellent thing to do for that day. Not many people know that the animal agriculture/dairy industry horrible for the envionment in pretty much every way you can imagine, from pollution to water consumption. Eating plant-based is also kind to yourself and your SO too as plant-based eating is generally more healthy than a traditional omni diet. Just an idea (:
Metta (or, "loving kindness") meditation is also an interesting thing to google and perhaps try out for yourself if you are interested in more actively cultivating kindness and love in the way you approach the world. The way this challenge is structured actually makes me think it is inspired by a common structure for metta meditations. A 10-15 minute meditation every morning is something that makes my whole day feel brighter, though I need to be better about being consistant with it - so, personally, this week I am also going to try to practice 10-15 minutes of metta meditation every day.
