Why is psychopathy revered as a good component in the Dark Triad model? I ask because I have schizophrenia and the auditory hallucinations if not managed can lead me to violence. Shit seems like a curse. Been to jail, house arrest and the psych ward. I even got tased by the cops for escaping lockup because I was going insane in the cells. There is the archetype of Patrick Bateman but he is a broken man. The dude cant pair bond and is a tragic figure. Look at Patricks Narcissism in the business card scene. He lives for validation and is never content, happiness eludes him. So whatsup with the glorification of the psychopathy variable in the dark triad model in general? Most psychopaths I've met were in jail. I remember chilling on J Block with Kilby Street Gangbangers in Worcester County Jail but they were kind to me. Sharing their radios and chocolates. I guess I'm asking because man, this shit sucks. Hearing voices telling me to jump infront of a train and I'll be reborn as a God. Look at the story of Frank Olson, he was drugged with LSD and leapt to his death. Psychopathy is pain man. My friend Joker was a schizoaffective and died of a heroin overdose recently, he had done alot of time in his life, 4 years for a stabbing but he was a cool guy. On the plus side I graduate with a Bachelors in Economics in the spring, hopefully I can survive. So is the grass really greener on the psychopath side?
