What hobbies and passions do you envision a traditional man to have?

Think hard. Then once you've identified one or two, find out about that community in your area, and look for their meetups or events. Then go attend.

Expand your net. Its exceptionally doubtful you'd ever find a traditional man at a vegan smoothie joint, or an arts and crafts store shopping for hot glue and beads.

Finding relationships is similar to fishing. You dont fish in a small 100m long community duck pond hoping to land a marlin. You have to go to where they are, which is way out in the ocean...

Find men who are into shooting or hunting. You're almost guaranteed that they will have some sort of traditional bent to them. Its a good starting place.

Or a guy who is or was a police officer or former military, but I'm speaking as a US citizen, so I don't necessarily know if that's as easy to find in Australia?

As for specific places where you would find these men, I'd say any events or clubs that involve something to do with guns :)

I meet my man on Tinder when it first came out. My brother used my Tinder originally as a troll account and I would let people at work swipe for me after I took it back from him. I wasn't even interested in dating at the time when he was the only guy who messaged me who didn't just say "hey" or "hi". We went snowboarding 4x a week after that and had a lot of common interests like fitness, snowboarding, surfing, etc. He is a very handyman can fix anything. Last summer he took 2 broken lawnmowers and mashed them together and made one working one. He is fixing a broken tiller for me and fixes our cars all the time. 4 years later we now have a house and some chickens so it really can be random!

My two cents : I met my BF at a craft beer meet up, not "traditional" per say (you will have a lot of hipsters/soy boys in the mix as well) but I found that a lot a guys that respect tradition tend to really enjoy and seek quality food and drinks, etc and activities surrounding these. You guys mentioned hunting and its also part of this "hedonist" quest (getting your own "wild" meat), so I would suggest that as well.

Also, I don't know if you're looking to date an asian guy but my bf is also asian and did a lot of taekwondo and some chinese calligraphy, have you looked into that? Those two activities teach patience, respect of elders and hierarchies... It's a good match in my opinion.

Axe throwing is becoming wildly popular, and there are spots popping up all over the place. I think you're very likely to find a man with the kind of values you're looking for at a venue like that. I googled and found one in Sydney!

I meet my very traditional husband via a dating app. You have to weed through a lot of losers but there are a few good old fashioned men on there.

My husband and a lot of the guys he works with do not find women who do mens hobbies attractive.

A suggestion, find out where these men go for lunch/dinner and eat at those places. Book stores. Grocery stores. Hang out in the men's clothing area at shops, you could be looking for a "gift" for your father or brother, and help your future husband pick out clothes.

The way I found my man is using bumble/tinder and played the twenty questions game (it got through the garbage faster). We matched I said hi and said answer these twenty questions, if they said things I didn’t like or The questions involved things that I thought were important. Children, marriage, athletic ability, hobbies, job/career future, what they see their future like. If they lazy answered or didn’t give answered I like i swiped left. If we matched well I would talk to them to see the waters and then go out on a simple date to somewhere where we could talk about things like a public park for a walk or a chipotle. It will take a lot of work but give it a chance it’s worked for me and my friends.

Find some kind of charity that you would feel great being part of and do some volunteering, this is a great way to meet someone who is like minded and a great way to make some connections.

Hi! I'm having a similar issue, I was actually going to make a similar post.

- You could try meetup.com you could look at meetups that are centered around your faith or other interests, even if you don't find a man out of it directly it can help you expand your social circle and meet more people. although I'm from the UK I once looked up traditionalism and found a meetup in Oz, so they are out there!

- You said you go to the gym at home, but you could see if their are any local running groups or something similar, that way you could meet men who like fitness without the expense of the gym.

- Don't be disheartened although I am a Christian I used to run a traditionalist Instagram page and lots of pagan (men and women) followed my account and had similar views, however (sorry if this is a harsh but it is an rp subreddit after all) I must admit their are certain paths of Paganism (notably Norse/Germanic heathenism) that pace more emphasis on traditional gender roles and conservative views than others.

As a National Socialist man, I can tell you from experience that you’ll find like minded people in areas or at events that are strongly connected to culture. Museum exhibitions about art, church, political events, here in Germany a lot of student movements have very traditional values and for example don’t allow non aryans to join. I’d try looking for events or groups/movements that are rooted in traditions culture and strong political beliefs
