Honestly, I wouldn't get caught up in it. Go through other members of the social group for invites and don't sink to her level when you host. Getting upset over someone who doesn't respect you is a waste of time. If other people in the group see you're unbothered by her and refuse to gossip and be mean they'll eventually get tired of her behavior as well.

I find it fun to flip the script on them. The purpose of insulting you is to make themselves look better than you (if only in their own mind) and getting a negative/defensive reaction from you.

However if you stay feminine and positive, they often have the realization that they wanted a negative response, and they quickly become aware that they are the jerk. Plus it becomes clear to anyone watching who is the better women.

For example:

Her: Your boyfriend only likes you because you are nice and submissive.

You: Aww! You think I'm nice?! How kind of you to say. You really just made my day. :D

If you and your boyfriend can find a way to carry on as usual or at least give the appearance like she's just a fart in the wind, that will hurt her the worst, as she won't be able to fill her narcissistic supply.

Honestly, I don't use anything "RPW" on other women. I like doing the DARE stuff from TRP and having some sort of "frame" around other women.

Make sure you invite her to your stuff and act like you don't notice any of her childish behavior. She's trying to either make you jealous or make jabs at you and any sign of passive aggressive behavior will signify to her that it's working. You could even play up the "nice" and "submissiveness" around her because that obviously grinds her gears.

I wouldn't show up to anything I wasn't invited to. If anyone asks then I say "Oh, I had no idea there was a gathering, was it fun?" and if that conversation goes further than that assure them that "She's got a busy social life and she must've just forgot to invite me." Sound sincerely clueless and change the subject.

Let her continue to do her dumb little act. Act like you don't notice. Either pretend you don't hear her, or agree and amplify anything she jabs at you. This will all blow up in her face and you won't need to lift a finger.

If this is true, she is probably not critical to your life. If it were me, I would set a boundary surrounding this woman. Tell your SO that neither of you need to invest time in her. You could try to talk it out directly with her, but it seems unimportant. This is more of an issue between you and your SO.

Just a gut feeling, but I would expect that he is enjoying the attention of a beautiful woman and they are engaged in some early stages of flirtation/seduction. I don't want to make you paranoid, just pointing out some probable dynamics based on the small amount of info in your post. Nip this in the bud so you don't have to worry about this girl.

I’m going to get downvoted to hell but I’m curious..

Does anyone think that maybe OP is too submissive and it’s socially weird to people that her presumably high value boyfriend would choose her over more confident, sexy and successful women?

Here is my opinion OP. Maybe you need to talk to your man and ask him if your social skills are lacking somewhere? To me high value men generally want partners that can keep up with their social circles.
