There's a discussion going on about the ebola nurse Amber Vinson, who phoned the CDC twice before boarding her plane. She had treated Duncan who died of the disease, and was at an extremely high risk of contracting the virus. The CDC ok'd it because she was below the 100.4F temperature threshold regulation that the CDC has in place.

She still boarded the plane, a crowded environment, even though she had a fever and relatively high temperature, after she had treated an infectious patient who died of the disease. You can chalk this up to excessively rigid regulations, but this woman is a professional nurse with an RN degree. She knew she was at high risk, and wanted to absolve herself of guilt and place it on the CDC.

And do you know why she called? Because she knew it was wrong. She knew she shouldn't get on that plane, but she wanted to do it. Fuck everyone else, she wanted to get on that plane and needed a scapegoat to lay the blame on. The CDC was wrong and her choice to fly was just as bad. She is a medical professional. She knew what she should and shouldn't do. She should have led by example. She disregarded all common sense and professional decorum and she should be in just as much trouble as the CDC should for condoning it.
