Yeah like we gonna keep giving this joker clicks?

[–]noPTSDformePlease 13 points14 points15 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I wonder if Mr. Geddes’ employers at CharacterSF would be interested to know how he feels about women? One of the agency’s clients is Nike Women.

The author of this article is straight up blackmailing people into going along with feminism.

[–]jefecaminador1 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Haha yeah thats pretty despicable. Disagree with what I say? I will research and post all information I can find out about you. Hopefully I'll get you fired. (And then deny that was my intent)

[–]hiyuh 10 points11 points12 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

His argument strategy boils down to:

  • Take someone's comment (Not sure if he provided the context as well, or if he cherry picked the worst pieces).

*Rummage through their posting history in an attempt to find dirt.

  • Post dirt on them in order to show how bad and mean the evil misogynist is and why we should ignore them.

If you have to resort to ad hominems, you lose. Not to mention that ridiculous statment, "If you're not a feminist, you're a misogynist!".

It's not even really worth getting angry about, this guy is nothing.

[–]_Molon_Labe_ 9 points10 points11 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Stopped a paragraph in. Bunch of claptrap.

“I will not feel guilty for trying to pick up a girl in the bar “without trying to get to know her”.”–Alex. We don’t have much information on Alex, but we do know that he thinks it’s totally lame to try to actually get to know a woman as a human being before he tries to put himself inside her. You just know this dude contributed to Ken Hoinsky’s Kickstarter.

So it's basically rape for a guy to want casual sex, but I'm sure who ever wrote this thinks it's completely empowering for a woman to want casual sex, and probably thinks slut shaming is bad. Why you gonna slut shame Alex then, author of shitty article?

The rest of the comments by the author can be taken apart the same way. Baaaaaaaad if men do it, empowering and liberating if women do it. Plus the usual cherrypicking of rape and abortion idiots who shouldn't be talking.

Sounds like a misogynist to me. Sex before marriage is taking advantage of women you creep.

Yeah, that's the part that had me all "wtf?". The guy' thought process is absolute black or white.

Better known as a False Dichotomy, A fallacy is an argument that uses poor reasoning.

[–]TRP Vanguard: "Dark Triad Expert"IllimitableMan 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

False dichotomy fallacy.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 13 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Why do you get enraged when people act like morons?

I found this amusing:

“Just as you are either racist or not racist, you are either misogynist or feminist"

So basically, this guy would fail the SAT.

[–]Modredpillschool 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

By his definition, a majority of women are misogynists. You know, that's something I can agree with.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Even my daughter has picked up on the self-hate women seem to project onto each other.

You're doxxing ppl and you want to be immune to the same? Need more info than "my name is Jonathan"

[–]HairyJonathanNathan 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Information on who I am is pretty easy to find. Besides, is it really "doxxing" to click on somebody's Disqus profile?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sorry, I'm not going to sift thru ur website to find out.

He is the author of the disputed article

[–]mach11 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You base a whole bunch of assumptions off that fact, I'm sure.

[–]TRP Vanguard: "Dark Triad Expert"IllimitableMan 6 points7 points8 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This guys articles are all hate speech perpetuated under the guise of victimhood (eg: I can say let's kill all cats because I'm an oppressed dog!) it's disgustingly despicable, what a deluded and idiotic man.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No offense, but I don't think it is especially healthy to go out and look for ways to piss yourself off. It can be gratifying in some sense. Giving rationale full proof arguments as to why someone is wrong can be great mental masturbation. But at the end of the day, I think this kind of thing does more harm than good.

I think it is better to focus on yourself, your own improvement, and happiness rather than worry about the opinions of some knothead blue piller.

[–]iamme28 points 13 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Did this piece of shit really just publicly expose personal information on people who make comments he doesn't like?

Thanks dipshit.

Feminism and all it's supporters are your enemy. Never forget. There are no disagreements, no minor clashes of ideologies, there is no room for debate, they're trying to destroy you regardless of what they say or what you think they believe in.

This. Feminism is truly a vile, evil ideology masquerading as righteous.

"I need feminism because women are not required by law to sign up for the draft at age 18 like men are."

Said no feminist ever.

[–]FatHat 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm amused how most of his retorts are "well you're not getting laid with that attitude!" Are we in middle school or something? This guys is like the definition of trying too hard.

[–]Modredpillschool 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Classic feminist tactic, use sex shaming to enforce compliance... all while singing the song that your ability to have sex doesn't define you. This guy is a parody.

[–]betaprime 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's hilarious to see someone on a moral high horse doxxing his critics.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm curious. Is "I regret saying yes last night" the same thing as "no"?

[–]fernandoleon 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That guy's an idiot. I choose to ignore him.

[–]the_letter_P 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Wow. What a load of complete and utter shite. Can't believe I just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading that complete nonsense.

He writes just like a feminist, which is to be expected. I thought I was reading an article on Jezabel or something. He would no doubt see it as a compliment, but it definitely was not meant as one. I am sure there's a 9 year old sitting in a chair with someone just typing what he says, cause that's pretty much the quality of the arguments offered.

To save anyone time who doesn't want to waste their time, I'll do a quick summary of what the article is about.

Someone will post a legitimate critique of his original article. Author will then go through his post history or Facebook and pull up trivial and totally unrelated aspects of his life up. Some classic examples are that the person likes Fast & Furious 5, or sexy women, or Weed or whatever. I know what you're thinking..."What's that got to do with anything?". And that is a legitimate gripe, however you must remember we are arguing with a feminist here. Such outdated stuffy notions such as logic and relevance have no place here. Its ad hominem arguments all the way! In one case he also managed to extract the commenters employer out of it and subtly threaten to go to his employers to squeal about what he said. Again, another classic feminists tactic ala Adria Richards ("donglegate"), etc.

Anyway, step 2 after getting as much irrelevant information about the commenter and using it to try and insult them (which he epically fails at) you then go to one of 3 key shaming tactics. You imply that they are gay, or secretly gay (to feminism being gay is used to insult people...more of that progressive thinking for you). You imply that they can't get laid. Again, it has nothing to do with the argument but I guess if you supposedly can get laid it means you have no value in the eyes of women therefore your argument is void (no matter how rational it is). Thirdly, you can imply that they are a creep. This has a similar logic to the "can't get laid" thing. All 3 seem to be an attempt to undermine the persons masculinity. Funny thing is, feminists think masculinity is a bad thing so you'd think this would be harmful to their argument. However the mistake you made there was to try and apply logic to a feminist argument, which, as we have discussed, you should never do. All that matters is you can attempt to hurt the person's feelings. Since feminism is all based on feelings they erroneously think that's how everyone else operates. That's why we get shit articles like this one from them.

I'm pretty sure that if this guy saw an article written by Stephen Hawkins He'd write an article about it.

"LOL, Whats this guy talking about Space time? Sounds kinda gaaayyy!! LOL U GUYYZZ, just checked out his facebook. Hes in some stupid chair...bet this guy never gets laid!!! What a creep. Maybe I should forward this article to Cambridge University...See how his employers feel about his views which hurt my feelings so much.missogernee!!1 PAYTREEARKHEEE!!111111! "

[–]HairyJonathanNathan 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Feminists don't think masculinity is a bad thing. I personally enjoy my masculinity quite a bit.

Wow, once I saw this book was banned here in the U.S., I had to get it just to see why and, wow. The author has brought up things that men hardly think about in relation to the women in their lives. Of course any feminist-minded female or puzzy whipped male would disagree due to their personal experiences or beliefs, but Chinweizu has very, very valid and strong points that readers of both sexes have to consider if they are honest about themselves and the environment we live in. After all, you have to wonder why this little book was banned and by whom. I'll leave you with one of the quotes form the book, "Men may rule the world, but women rule the men that rule the world"...and that was before feminism.

Enjoy.

[–]p3ndulum 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This, too.

[–]p3ndulum 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He writes just like a feminist

I noticed this, too. Reading him makes me think "this guy has a woman's brain."

Actually, I assumed that men like you, specifically, don't care about their kids, just like you don't care about the women in your life. A woman to you is either a bitch or a future bitch. Kids, if you have them, are objects that can be weaponized. You don't see other human beings. You see things you can control and things you cannot control and therefore despise.

I sincerely doubt that anybody - man or woman - could read that, and without already knowing he was a guy, assume that this was written by a guy.

If that's not evidence of a "male identity crisis", then I don't know what is.

He was very likely raised by a bitter single mother who projected her misandry onto him his entire childhood. If anyone needs what we advocate here on TRP it is this deluded man.

Legitimate question: why do you feel obligated to research and then publicize personal information regarding your critics?

Seems pretty over-the-line to me.

Meh, the font on your website is actually hard to read. You should consider making it a little, only a smidgen, bit bigger.

Well, It's not worth the effort to struggle to read a website, and then reply to all the points (if any) it makes.

Anyways, being the dominant one in the relationships I've had so far has worked out well for me. It isn't misogyny and it definitely isn't rape. :D
