Problem as I see it is that a successful guy doesn't necessarily look for the same in a woman.

Yet a successful woman usually has an expectation that they'll nab a guy equally or more successful than herself.

The reality is they have completely narrowed down their dating pool by choice.

Whereas a successful man by his choices has just opened his options right up.

I think this was a good article. The main theme is that yeah, men like successful women. They know how to fuck, can carry a conversation, don't demand too much of your time. All great... For a short term relationship.

From a male perspective, he asks himself, "What do I gain by locking this woman down v.s. just replacing her with another (younger) woman on an ongoing basis?" The answer is probably nothing.

Alpha women want alpha men. They can't respect anyone less. Alpha men like the company of alpha women for a while. But they make terrible long term partners. Guys want a woman that makes him the priority, is nice to them, has sex with him a lot, and plans things around his schedule. If he wants kids he'll want her to stay home and take care of them if he can afford it. Career women just can't do all those things.

I would rather the lower income but hard working, good at saving woman for a TLR or even wife than a higher income cold bitch. I have quite a few 'salt of the earth' type friends and I enjoy their company a lot more than many of my city friends.

I like successful women. My last 2 main squeezes have been very successful women in their respective fields.

They have money, to buy steaks & wine for our dinners. (I cook the steaks, a woman can't be trusted not to fuck it up. Learnt that the hard way after eating rubbery, overcooked filet. Never. Again.)

Also, career dames are usually busy 4-5 nights a week, sometimes more. That makes the logistics of spinning plates a lot easier. Thanks, Feminism! You've made my soft harem much easier to maintain.

It sounds like a good way to lose 90 hours a week of your highest T-level years chasing pointless materialistic bullshit and "status" while missing out on tight poon, great food, good music and happy times.

This is a case where the phrase "your mileage may vary" applies big time. Different men have different tastes on the particulars of a LTR. Some men just want someone who will hold down home and hearth while they work like mad. Others want someone they can compare war stories with as well as socialize within their profession. While I wouldn't put it at irrelevant, I think it's way too much to call it a requirement for any man.
