Single 30's here. I couldn't tell you how many of my peers with kids tell me they'd rather be single and have my life (whispering it under their breath at all those events). They love their kids and all but most seemed to have shacked up with their 5th choice.

The social stigma is fake. Even their wives might want the D, and you'll be able to tell because they wanna keep texting and calling you to play matchmaker. You can see the jealousy on their faces when you actually say yes and smash whatever friend they serve up.

Personally? I'd love to find a ride or die compatible partner but, that's more than a second job in itself and I don't have that kinda time. Better to keep improving until a decent one finds you. And you'll know because she'll prove herself.

That said. I did find 1 or 2 unicorns in my day but younger more savage me fucked those up.

I don't have enough experience on this area but stereotypically speaking, isn't it better off for you when you're still single? Your bosses and clients knows you're not tied down by anyone so theoretically you should be able to seize more opportunities to move up in your company than the dude who's too busy and complacent with his wife and kids.

Don't get into an LTR just for the sake of it. Would you prefer to be in a shitty ltr just so you can avoid the "social stigma" of being single?
