The general rule is first build up your savings. I would say 6 months of savings where you can pay your bills. After that start saving for a house, build equity. Make sure you don't put yourself in debt for stupid things and avoid it all costs. If you can't afford to pay it off immediately on your card, you can't afford it.

You asked what should we be doing in general.

If you mean a daily life, I think you should first focus on "cleaning your room".

Try to establish a healthy routine which will balance good(healthy) food, exercise, studying, leisure, sleep and duties. Work on that balance first and make sure you establish healthy habits and give up devastating ones.

Spending less time on internet can ease your mind as well.

Focus on building your values. What is the meaning of being? what is your purpose? What people you want to surround yourself with?

Write who you were in past, who you are now and who you want to be in future.

First of all do not focus so much on setting plans. Be flexible. Accept offers and situations that appear in front of you.

Try to better you social skills, build a friends circle that is small but reliable.

In terms of finances, since you are still in school I wouldn't necessarily right now focus that hard on establishing a plan. Focus more on you and your education, since your parents support you.

Hi fellow student 👋🏻

I found university so far to be the most confusing and lonely portion of my life. I find making friends can be kind of difficult and it's lead me to feel all alone. Some things I did to give myself structure and feel better about where I'm going:

Wake up at the same time every day. Every. Day. No excuses. I didn't see the value in this but it made a world of difference. In high school you get up at the same time daily, but as an adult you're free to do whatever. I just find that my brain is regulated this way, it's automatic wake up. Rarely do I feel exhausted. I don't control how late I stay up, only the time I wake up. Truly it's given my day so much structure it's fantastic. Only produces long-term results though, at first you'll feel almost no different. Give er a good month, you'll feel it.
get off Netflix and get a hobby or two. You don't have to go out and make friends yet through this hobby (though that is the final goal) but just find and interest and stick with it. 2-3hrs of Netflix (or social media, or anything that just wastes your time away really) weekly is my max. Get off your butt and get cracking
thought dumping in a journal. I just write a big ole list like 1-2x daily about my worries about anything. Career, love life, you name it, it's on there. Once your mind has been cleared if it's worries, try to fill your head with positive thoughts.
for money, I was always told a good 10% of your paycheques should go aside for savings. If you have no savings, well you have none. You could try to get a job that makes above minimum wage. I started serving in Canada, which is a sweet gig because we make minimum wage plus tips. If you can find a similar job I'd defs recommend it. Cash is my spending money and then the pay cheque go right into savings for me. It's been incredibly helpful because cash is so handy for that...

-dont fret too much. We're still young and there's still time to get you and your life together. Every year I grow so much more as a person, that I'm shocked looking back on who I was. Focus on internal growth and acquire as many skills as possible. You don't need to master everything, the good is to be good enough at a bunch of stuff, you'll be set up for success.

There are a number of great subs dedicated to frugal living, personal finance, and financial independence that I'd recommend checking out. Not sure if I can link to them, but you can find them with basic search terms. The financial independence sub is my favorite, and it includes countless resources in the sidebar.

I'd also recommend checking out the site NerdWallet. They have simple financial advice for any scenario, including advice specific to women. Something a lot of women don't consider is: We live longer than our spouses and have higher medical expenses in retirement. So for the most part women need more retirement savings than men do.
