Can’t almost any man get laid a lot by just acting sleazy? Like just being sexually forward all the time or a lot of the time.

I think it's like saying that any man can get an A in maths if he writes all the correct answers. It's (probably) right in theory, but there is a reason many people can't just go ahead and do that. I know that this sort of forwardness would be so out of character for me that I'd rather remain alone forever than try it (or choose the dreaded friendzone over creepiness). And even if I did try it, I would probably suck at it so hard that I would give up before I learn to pull that off convincingly or before I play the numbers game long enough for it to pay off.

I think this only works if you're already pretty socially embedded in a mixed-gender social group. Otherwise being too forward might just make people avoid you, especially if you're not all that attractive.

I do think a lot of men would benefit from being more sexually forward though.

You can get accused or rape or sexual assault or even "pressuring" women into sex and it can ruin your life/reputation.

It's not that simple. It depends on his looks, his standards (for shotgunning straightforwardness to work his standards have to be quite low unless he's especially Chadly), the local population density (there have to be enough "targets" who don't all talk to each other), and his level of tact around his straightforwardness. And no, getting a sleazy reputation isn't harmless. It could get you banned from venues, hurt your chances with girls who've heard about you and there are other negative effects as well: friends might leave you and you're less likely to get say, get a job through someone who knows someone.

Sleaziness can't work, by definition, because an action is only considered sleazy by people who it doesn't work on.

What you're calling "sleazy" here is really just being sexually forward. It's sexual escalation. it's a man making his sexual interest in a woman clear, known and explicit.

Like u/notworthmuch20xx said, it has to be practiced and "accepted". And your sleaziness will be accepted if she finds you attractive or you otherwise made a pretty good impression on her. The "sleaziness" has to be a relatively smooth sexual forwardness that is clear, frank and explicit without being weird, odd, or creepy. And it has to be timed more or less correctly. Too soon before attraction is established, and you'll creep her out. Too late after you've waited too long to escalate, and you'll come off as desperate or indecisive.

And, well, if she's sexually attracted to you, you can act pretty much any way you want to act and she'll sleep with you.

Absolutely not, OP. Without also being attractive, funny, and having SOME subtlety, being forward on its own will destroy your reputation while being essentially ineffective. Change your post to "extremely attractive guys can get laud by acting sleazy" then you'd be on to something.
