Sexual success doesn't make a man more masculine but a lack of masculinity is usually correlated with low sexual success. Not a whole lot of weak-chinned and/or short unmasculine men have tons of sexual success.

This is an idea often brought up my redpill theory that masculinity is tied to how many girls you can smash, and it's important to dispel this idea since it causes some young men a lot of grief. It's a lot easier to cope with inceldom if you learn to accept that you can still be a man without having sex.

Incels will NEVER be seen as manly as non incels.

Ever.

You can rationalize anything you want.

Men and women feel and understand this on the animal level.

Here are my arguments.

(1) Sexual success is not something that is common among men. If it is true that only 40% of men have ever successfully reproduced, that means that sexual success is not that frequent among males. If the vast majority of men haven't sexually reproduced historically, then how can you tie sexual success to masculinity?

Because sexual success is the only given mission based on you being a man that exists after survival. All other missions are self created or created by others and is not innate.

To nature, a man that cannot ever get a woman to agree to give herself to him for that moment is a failure.

To more ruthless species, the female kills or eats the unworthy male because the male is negative to the species survival, power, strength, and growth.

(2) A lack of sexual success does not necessarily entail that the man lacks ambition or masculine drive. Just look at the second World War. I can guarantee you that the vast majority of soldiers who fought and died on the Eastern Front and the soldiers who fought for Imperial Japan have never had sex without paying for it (or taking it by force in the case of the latter). Most of these soldiers probably died without ever having had sex. Yet, they participated in conflicts and wars that take an immense amount of courage and masculine drive to bear.

Actually, the men that ended up being sexually successful at the end of those World Wars were typically the men who weren't conscripted as soldiers and thus did not have to engage in any risk-taking battles. They weren't masculine, just lucky.

Obviously lacks the ambition and drive necessary to be seen as successful, valuable, and desirable by women.

When no women want a man, he can't be very impressive.

It's rare to meet a truly respectable man that's incel. At best you can only respect them narrowly.

Reminds me of Chad MGTOW vs Incel MGTOW.

(3) A lack of sexual success actually encourages men to engage in masculine behavours.

Do you think men would have any incentive to sail a wooden boat and travel across the Atlantic Ocean in pursuit of unknown lands if they were getting all kinds of strange back home? How many men would still be willing to fight in wars if they had women throwing themselves at them?

Look at the Middle East for example. A combination of rigid sexual freedoms and marital norms that encourage hypergamy have spawned an entire generation of young men who are willing to risk it all, to fight and die for something greater than themselves in a scene of true chaotic masculinity. This would not be around if every man there was getting laid.

Well, yes? So when a man can't achieve after trying, then he looks so so bad.

For sure, sex drives men to be masculine.

Anecdotally, it seems to me that every guy I know who has a girlfriend suddenly stops hitting the gym, stops improving themselves and is more complacent about life. I've had several friends who I used to meet frequently at the gym or in my kickboxing group who suddenly lost interest after they got a girlfriend and were able to have sex constantly.

Yes. After the need to be more awesome is gone, the driving force is greatly diminished. Women make you want to stagnate in a sense, especially if the woman doesn't test you and keep you on your toes.

So yeah these are my arguments, CMV.
