I know that this sub is swarming with tumblrinas who claim they love cross country driving just like they're all particle physics majors and love nerdy puny guys, but personally I noticed that women aren't generally comfortable behind a wheel, expecially on the highway and expecially when they have to drive to a location they have never been before (a situation that makes them really anxious while men don't have the luxury to indulge in this type of anxiety). whenever I look at a couple in a car, the guy is always the designated driver. I came to the conclusion that women expect men to drive as part of their gender role package and being a chaffeur is basically one of the crucial aspect in the beta bucks or beta provider paradigm. a guy who refused to drive making excuses like feeling insecure and not comfortable would be regarded as defective by the overwhelming majority of women.
