Here's what I had to say:

I've got big problems with this. The logic itself is loopy.

First of all, the post implies you're not a nice guy if you're nice to a girl and you're sexually interested in her, like the two are mutually exclusive. Therefore the only way you can actually be a "nice guy" is if you're not interested in her. So either you're gay/asexual, or you're a creep. That's what we call a double-bind. Curious how similar that is to the now legendary Madonna/whore complex.

Second, if doing nice things for a girl doesn't win her over, the solution is almost never to be more "nice". However the implication is that women do respond to actual nice guys, so guys should focus on actually being "nice" (and attractive, but many people leave that out). Another contradiction.

Now I'm fairly certain OP and the people that say this don't intend these implications (especially the first), but they're inevitable. And while the solution to the double bind is her being interested in you as well, no mention is made of that either in the OP or the top comments (other than "don't be short, bald, and fat"). And this is why TheRedPill is a thing. The bullshit put out by people like OP makes the opposite bullshit sound like not-bullshit.

Thoughts?
