Atlas Shrugged revolves around a "strong independent woman" who is desired by and desires three "hyper alpha males."

Basically Dagny desires a power couple.

She's the smartest person she knows and she doesn't fall in love until she meets men on her level or higher.

So what you guys call hypergamy.

According to TRP those men would have zero interest in a woman like Dagny.

So either TRP is lying or Ayn is.

I haven't read her books but I just thought I'd throw this quote out there from her Wikipedia page: 'Once Mises referred to Rand as "the most courageous man in America", a compliment that particularly pleased her because he said "man" instead of "woman".'

rand and her lover were both narcissists. their hole ideology is can be summed up as me and mine. and while i think self reliance is personal trait i think as society wide trait its degenerate. i think the right wing libertarian argument of charity will take care of the poor is ignorant of history, and assume to much of human nature and its ability to have fucks give at a distance.
