Who you consider hot boils down to your sexual/relationship experiences. The more relationships you are in, the more sex you have the more personal your criteria in regards to an attractive mate. Someone posted a list of average women and included anna paquin on there. If that guy happened to have had a run in with an anna paquin lookalike who fucked his brains out, served him hand and foot and was unconditionally devoted to him (the assumption being that these are desirable traits for this hypothetical male) anna paquin would automatically be associated with those memories of intense, out of this world sex / a blissful relationship and hence be at the top spot on the hot list.

As a man, when you start listing out a bunch of celebrities categorising them as average/hot based purely on how they look in a photo shoot you invariably come across as lacking experience. You don't have a personal "bespoke" list of hot chicks based on your past experience, you have a list of what you think photogenic celebrities are like in the sack / in a relationship. At least, that is how it comes across. To avoid falling into this trap, you need to articulate why you have these women on your list.

(I limit the scope to men as I can't speak for women and how they reach their conclusions.)
