Clearly you're going to look for some outlierish traits. However, the more outlier traits you look for, the more you're restricting yourself to an exponentially decreasing end of the bell curve. At some point, the searching costs become prohibitive.

Thus, there is a compromise to be found between settling for the average AWALT and vainly searching for that elusive unicorn.

I don't really see what is that harsh or hard about maintaining a RP relationship, though obviously it depends highly on whom you choose for a LTR. For men: stand up for yourself, don't take shit, maintain hobbies and interests outside of your relationship, put effort into your physical appearance. For women: show trust in your man, respect him, stand back and let him be his own person, listen to him, put effort into your physical appearance and make sex a priority.

Women who will trust and respect a man who will accept nothing less aren't unicorns. No, the perfect woman doesn't exist, relationships take work from both parties, boo hoo. It may be hard for men to knock women off the pedestal they've placed them on all their lives and painful to realize that women aren't the angels they've been led to believe. But once you accept the reality that you need to maintain attraction in your relationship if you want one it doesn't seem that crazy.

Maybe I'm just incredibly naive, I don't know. I'm sure it's much harder if you've wound up with a BPD woman or someone who is otherwise off her rocker. If you're looking for the kind of outlier who is the perfect woman you don't have to put forth any effort to keep you are probably going to die alone. But that doesn't mean it has to be this lifelong tooth and nail battle.

I have two big criticisms to this.

First, look at pretty much all RP posters even on this sub, let alone TRP. Exaggeration, sarcasm, etc. is simply the writing style of most. Stop getting so offended. I would say RP posters are typically the better writers from an entertainment, literary flair standpoint anyway.

Second, AWALT is the default. Prove me wrong new flame! What is wrong with that? Why should I immediately assume that this new girl is a special snowflake just because she thinks she is, which is in contrast to my personally accumulated experience?

Why not? Outliers exist, not many are going to disagree with that. Is chasing after them really that pointless, even if it would lead to a life free of behaving in accordance with the self-described "harsh" red pill truths?

Well women don't fall out of the sky, so if you don't mind getting rejected over and over again, dumped and cheated on, rock on, but is it worth all that just to avoid working on yourself or avoid opening your eyes to people's natural inclinations? Do you really think that same woman won't like you if you adjust yourself to work with how her mind thinks or what she naturally wants?

Red pill, or anyone who adheres to rules for finding a partner, treats people as objects to be acquired. If you just want to conform and have your status symbol prize then that is the way to go.
