Most rapists are young men. Most women who are raped are raped by someone they know. Young men know more women their own age than women much older than them.

The average age of a male victim is around the same, if not lower (according to this source in Honolulu the average age is 10 for males) so why aren't old men a hot commodity?

Rape of women seems to be highest in places where women are less available, either in a polygynous society where some men get all of the women or in areas like Alaska where the male-to-female ratio is ridiculously out of whack. I imagine in China, where sex-selective abortion is causing a skew of an excess of men rape is higher there too (but I haven't seen statistics on this so that is just speculation). Sex is a commodity, if people feel like they can't get it "legally" they'll just get it by taking it.

Your average granny doesn't exactly have the agility, flexibility, or strength to repel her assailant. Most rapes are not random attacks. They are perpetrated by someone the victims knows, and alcohol and other mind altering substances are involved in the majority. Who is more likely to be in a party type situation doing drugs, getting black out drunk, and such: high school/college girls or middle aged moms?

My guess is that the age range of victims is similar for male rape victims. What would you think that would demonstrate?

Your evidence says nothing about normal, healthy male sexuality, it demonstrates what rapists go for, and it appears they go for young, and therefore often vulnerable women. Congrats on comparing yourselves to and using rapists to make your point, though. That shit's just too good to be true. It's the stuff that news outlets quote to illustrate how fucked up you all are.

Here's the real hard truth for you to swallow: Young women don't want older men. They are repulsed by older men hitting on them. I had one friend who dated men in their 30s and 40s when she was in her late teens and early 20s. She was sexually abused by her father growing up, emotionally abused and neglected by her mother, is bipolar, and has used every substance under the sun. And she was overweight.

Here's something I figured out about women a long time ago.

They are perfectly aware that men prefer younger women. They are perfectly aware of "the wall."

The denials are just "power talk." Everybody knows that men prefer younger women. Everybody knows that a woman's sexual desirability peaks in her 20s.

Everyone knows. It's common knowledge. The denials are just a way to save face.

Think about it this way. Have you ever heard a feminist complain about "invisibility?" This is when a 40 something or older feminist complains that men "ignore" them, or that they feel "invisible" around men.

That's "the wall." Everyone knows it.

The traditional way women avoid this "problem" is they commit to a man when they are young and hot, treat him real nice, and by the time she's grown old and wrinkly, her man is still head over heels in love with her and has "wife goggles" - he still sees her as the young hottie she once was.

Feminists/Empowered sluts don't like this. Men should, instead, be attracted to post-wall women that they barely know. They should be attracted to her awesome wonderful personality - without them ever putting in the "work" of actually getting him to love her.

The reality is most of them just wind up writing "Where have all the good men gone" rants on jezebel.com.
