I can hold a strong frame over some girls and others I can feel the BB overcoming me. What gives?

This happens to me as well. It's because you care more about girls of higher value and therefore are outcome dependent. Getting too much in your own head.

Some basic solutions are try to give less of a fuck, get more options, or become more aware, as you've had, and tighten up your game.

It's the great irony, the ones you like the most, you have the worst game with. You're not alone, what you're feeling is the norm for almost every guy.

The solution really is just practice and doing it over and over. This accomplishes three things. 1. Practice with the nuts and bolts of game 2. Abundance mindset and outcome independence as you get more sexual experience (you tend to remember the good ones and forget the blowouts or bad ones) 3. As you build up more past cases of having actually kept your cool with a girl you really cared about and succeeded, you reverse any Pavlovian reflexes to blue pill behavior, and it become natural to keep it cool.

my solution to this issue was to get to a place mentally where I feel 100% complete as I am.

so now whether a girl is a 6 or an 8 or a 10, I still feel the same about it.

cos I'm not looking at it like "the hotter girl is a bigger ego boost". cos I don't need the ego boost in the first place.

Im in a similar boat except factors. We have a bit of language barriers at times and shes almost like a fish out of water ugly ducking attire while shes a stunner.

We havent fucked after 8 dates, gotten close. The lack of sex, the new context, and our getting along great is killing me with oneitis which I thought was over.
