I had an epiphany this morning, regarding the behavior of feminists and the government. Specifically, I was thinking about the catcalling video, and the current rape-culture hysteria. I think we've all been in a bar and seen the (usually but not always hot) chick who tries to get her man to fight other dudes. "Hey, he touched my ass!", or "He called me a bitch!" or "I was just sitting here and this jerk started hitting on me!" The dynamic is that she gets off on his power, and he doesn't realize how big of a fail dancing to her strings is. Government is that dude. When Feminism asks Government "Hey, that guy just catcalled me! Are you going to let him talk to me like that?" we are going to get our ass kicked, because boyfriend government is a big dumb asshole that's being played. I just hope their relationship follows the usual trajectory for this type of dysfunction.

You fundamentally misunderstand anarchism if you think that anarchy means lack of law, groups and collectives. Anarchy means the removal of a monopoly on the use of force. No centralized police/government/court/etc. does not mean that there would be no laws, just no one single powerful force to corrupt a nation/state/city.

/r/Anarchism is mostly Left-anarchists, socialists in anarchists clothing IMO.

Right-anarchists (or center/libertarian anarchists) are found in /r/Anarcho_Capitalism - they praise the freedom of free markets and market-based regulation, property rights, contracts & the removal of all monopolies on the use of force. They also support freedom of the body, such as abortion, drug use, prostitution, etc. It's essentially Libertarianism taken a few steps further.

I think people overshoot how many people on this earth are truly shitty people. 99.9999999% of people are good people.

This is fundamentally opposed to AWALT, which TRP accepts as true. AWALT means all women will look for a better opportunity in the right circumstances -- fundamentally they aren't "good people" who will do the right thing all the time. Men aren't any different; the reason we don't say AMALT or APALT is because society already says men are shitty people where it builds up women as pure and virtuous.

TRP is about realism, and realistically 99.9999999% of the population isn't going to sing kumbaya and hold hands if there's no threat of repercussion. This doesn't mean everyone is going to become a mass murderer if the government disappears, but it does mean people won't be nearly as nice/nonviolent toward each other in that situation. Even if 90% of the population would live exactly the way they do now without a government the other 10% would be violent enough to force the rest into forming some sort of organization to protect themselves and BAM! you're right back at having a government.

Anarchy is a great idea, but it doesn't work in the real world.

Since the current form or any other form of government ever has worked.

This depends on your definition of "has worked." Under the current national and international structure we're in a period of peace unheard of in prior human history. There hasn't been a war between two global powers in 70 years. I'm not saying what exists currently is perfect -- far from it -- but on a macro scale it's worked relatively well.

If someone wants to murder someone they're going to fucking do it government or not.

Agree -- but imagine the marginal cases. Say someone gets drunk and pisses of someone else at a bar. Right now they know if they get in a bar fight -- which could easily turn lethal -- they're likely getting arrested and will face serious penalties. In an anarchic state there would be no such penalties and so the incentive to walk away from (potentially lethal) bar fights is far less. It's the idea that robberies will happen no matter what, and locks are just to keep honest people honest.

Bullshit. Look who you're citing as a source -- a conspiracy theorist who's written a book called Illuminati 3: Satanic Possession. TRP is about realism, and keeping a vast secret conspiracy ("a long-term plan to enslave humanity") is not realistic.

Look no further than the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. This was a genuine secret conspiracy for a few decades -- the theory was that the whole situation was exaggerated/fabricated so that President Johnson could massively escalate in Vietnam. What happened? Barely a generation later solid evidence that the incident was fabricated came out. Less than half a century later we know the whole thing was made up. The secret got out.

Now that we're firmly in the information age keeping conspiracies secret is even more impossible. That we fabricated evidence to support the Iraq invasion is now common knowledge. The secret got out. A conspiracy magnitudes bigger -- the extent to which the NSA monitors everyday citizens -- has also been convincingly proven. The secret got out, the secret always gets out. A genuine secret conspiracy -- where the powers that be pull the wool over the world's eyes and no one ever finds out -- is impossible.

Feminism as a whole is not the pawn of the government, and the government as a whole is not the pawn of feminism. There is no grand secret conspiracy, because keeping even a small conspiracy secret has proven to be unrealistic. Feminism came about because education became widespread and women with even a modicum of education could question why they were second-class citizens. It became a useful cause for some politicians, then more, and eventually it evolved into what we see today: A sprawling, sometimes contradictory philosophy that made its most basic ideas mainstream (e.g. women are reasonably intelligent, women should have basic legal rights and representation), made some more controversial ideas law (but not universally accepted), and has made little headway with other controversial ideas (either legally or in the mainstream). Feminism works to the extent it does because millions of somewhat rational actors find varying degrees of it useful, not because there's some shadowy cabal dictating its progress from the haze of a smoke-filled room.

Feminism has gone too far in certain areas, we can all agree. But attributing this to a vast conspiracy that's implausibly been kept secret is not realistic.

you assert this without giving compelling evidence.

I'd say the most powerful organization in the history of man (the U.S. government) being unable to keep massive criminal conspiracies (deceiving the nation to start wars and conducting unconstitutional surveillance) under wraps is pretty compelling. It's certainly more compelling than the other possibility -- that it is possible to keep conspiracies secret indefinitely. Imagine, say, all that's necessary to keep a presidential assassination secret:

For the sake of simplicity assume only one person decides to arrange the assassination -- let's say a high-ranking member of an intelligence organization.
Information about presidential security must be gathered. This would be difficult to do personally without raising suspicion so it almost certainly involves a suspicious conversation with at least one person.
A method of assassination must be decided upon; this could easily lead to suspicious searches, emails, activities, or meetings. For the sake of simplicity we'll assume the mastermind picks this himself with no input.
Once the method is decided upon an assailant must be chosen. This likely involves no fewer than two additional people as the mastermind (unless he decides to be the assailant himself) is unlikely to choose a personal acquaintance as this would be highly suspicious after the fact. We're up to three total loose ends now.
Whatever materials required for the assassination must be procured.
If the materials are specialized (e.g. poison) it's likely they'll have to be bought from someone who will naturally be suspicious -- the material has a very specific purpose. That's a fourth loose end if we go this route.
If the materials are more common (e.g. a rifle) there's less suspicion raised at the procurement stage but the execution (pun intended) will be far more difficult.
Some training/preparation by the assailant will be required; for the sake of simplicity we'll assume he can do this himself in private.
When the actual assassination occurs it has to be conducted flawlessly to avoid leaving evidence or raising the suspicion of any security around the president.
After the assassination the autopsy must turn up no evidence of a conspiracy; a gunshot wound might be written off as a lone nut but a more subtle method (e.g. poison) would have to perfectly masquerade as a natural cause. Anything suspicious will be examined from every possible angle -- including some angles that haven't been thought of or invented yet -- for the next several decades at least.
All loose ends (we're at three or four now) must be completely silent or killed.
Killing any loose end raises suspicion; it's not a surefire way to keep a conspiracy quiet.
All accidental loose ends (e.g. someone outside the conspiracy who saw something suspicious) either need to be totally avoided or taken care of.
All communication involved must be non-electronic and must be destroyed.

And all this is the simplest possible scenario with a simple one-time goal. More likely scenarios add additional loose ends at steps 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 13, and 14 -- each additional loose end increases the likelihood of discovery exponentially. Conspiracies that have broader goals or are intended to be ongoing (e.g. creating an organization for some nefarious purpose) increase the likelihood of discovery geometrically. And don't forget the inevitable rehashing of all available evidence by thousands of competent people from every possible discipline -- any irregularity is a thread that can be pulled to unravel the whole thing. Probabilistically any conspiracy worth conducting is going to be discovered at some point.

Also, I'm almost certainly on some kind of list right now.

You are just repeating your assertion that conspiracies are not likely to be successful. However, there exists evidence that suggests otherwise. For example the Manhatten Project, which produced the first atomic bomb. A project, which is harder to pull off than a simple assassination.

A 1945 Life article estimated that before the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings "[p]robably no more than a few dozen men in the entire country knew the full meaning of the Manhattan Project, and perhaps only a thousand others even were aware that work on atoms was involved." The magazine wrote that the more than 100,000 others employed with the project "worked like moles in the dark". Warned that disclosing the project's secrets was punishable by 10 years in prison or a $10,000 ($131,000 today[1]) fine, they saw enormous quantities of raw materials enter factories with nothing coming out, and monitored "dials and switches while behind thick concrete walls mysterious reactions took place" without knowing the purpose of their jobs

I added new reasoning to the evidence I presented earlier. The overall assertion is of course going to stay the same.

The Manhattan Project was successfully kept secret, yes, but only for a short time. It's also famous for being successfully infiltrated by a surprising number of spies -- I'm pretty sure Stalin wasn't surprised when he received news of Hiroshima. Had we not announced the bomb to the world ourselves the existence of the project undoubtedly would have come out in the next quarter century or so, just like how information about Enigma codebreaking eventually surfaced before Allied governments intended:

In 1967, Polish military historian Władysław Kozaczuk in his book Bitwa o tajemnice ("Battle for Secrets") first revealed Enigma had been broken by Polish cryptologists before World War II. The same year, David Kahn in The Codebreakers described the 1944 capture of a Naval Enigma machine from U-505 and noted, somewhat in passing, naval Enigma messages were already being read.

1967 was seven years before the first official accounts of that project were allowed, and those disclosures may have been sped along by the fact that the cat was already out of the bag. This program was also far smaller than the sprawling Manhattan Project.

I agree, I'm just saying these conspiracies don't stay secret forever. Before the information age a secret could be kept for a few decades; the WMD and NSA revelations lead me to believe the timeframe is closer to 10-20 years now. They may have openly funded Gender Studies programs, but where's your evidence that they "openly" wish to kill the family? I've yet to read the mission statement of a mainstream organization that in any way resembles that.

That's beside the point, anyway -- you're claiming that feminism is the tool of a vast (at least nationwide) conspiracy that the general public has never become aware of. History has shown that this is unrealistic.

Yeah, guys checking out of the game completes the disunification process. It's that, or get divorced/fucked over by a poisoned woman anyway. How are guys supposed to overpower feminism/the government and reinstate patriarchy/heading the family? The law is against them, the women are against them. Nothing short of violent revolution/a coup could achieve an ideological shift. Most men are asleep, and many of those awake do not exactly feel a strong sense of brotherhood, so it's not like they'd all join together to "take back their nation!" What we are experiencing contemporarily is a logical reaction to a toxic ideology. Sure lots of people want families, but the disincentive to have one is huge. You either avoid that basket case, or you sacrifice all your hopes and dreams just to continue your genetic legacy AND HOPE that your kids can get through the same bullshit you did. Then there's the moral issue: do you really want your kid to live in that kind of world? If you have a superior alternative, we're all ears.

I don't think so. Most people are indoctrinated, living out a script, sure. But not everybody is. Many people on this board are "awake." They may not know everything, who does? But they know better than to let other people define their lives for them. How do you suggest people overcome our socially engineered environment? People respond to incentives. People who are awake tend to hyper-individualise and maximise incentive-rewarding behaviour. I suspect men who can afford it will leave the west and go to more traditional countries attempting to escape feminist poison, although unfortunately feminism is an ideology like any other, it seeks global hegemony and there are signs it is already intruding upon once healthy societies, corrupting their women through the westernisation which transmits feminism. This is already happening in countries previously insulated from feminism by the iron curtain, eg: Poland, Czech Republic etc.

Although Feminism has certainly played a part in this, I put 100% of the blame on my generation. Generation Y is a fucking joke. I have a lot of "friends" but I can only count on one hand the amount of my friends who I consistently have serious conversations with, the kind that allow a trusting, brotherly bond to flourish. Everyone else thinks everything's a fucking joke, or they're too goddamn concerned about being socially accepted to engage in serious conversations.

And Generation Y, beyond my social circle, gets even fucking worse. Eye-fucking smartphone technology has become the overwhelming preference to interacting with human beings. "Chilling with friends" on social media has become the preference instead of group activities/interactions. I'm genuinely ashamed to be a part of this despicable fucking generation of low-life human beings. Easy to joke with at a bar, but impossible to connect with on a level of any meaning whatsoever, especially during the week. Just a bunch of awkward pieces of egotistical bullshit.

Oh yeah gen Y's give huge fucks about being popular. Personally I rather cultivate a small high quality social circle, or even random disjointed friendships with high quality individuals (but no circle because they don't know each other) than try to appeal to the masses and basically unify/lead a bunch of dense idiots. I suppose I identify more with the sigma label than the alpha one though. I don't want to be everyone's friend or be liked by everyone. Yep, gen Y is superficial to the point of lacking any real depth. Obviously there are exceptions, but most are pretty dense. Sad, really. Who do we blame though? Gen X. Absent fathers, single mothers, beta fathers. Gen X raised these kids. I blame Gen X for fucking up gen Y. Then there's the fact gen X had economic opportunities gen Y can only dream of. Those old people raping the pensions? I doubt gen Y's will even see a pension.

Gen Y is one of the least privileged generations to come along IN A LONG TIME. As in, you're not better off economically than the generation before you. Gen X were. The war generation were etc. Older generations will say "you have the internet, you have iphones." But they had functioning families and jobs available. I think most people would trade away modern tech for a solid family and abundant career opportunities in a heartbeat. One of the biggest things to fuck over gen Y is the devaluation of a college degree, and the drastic increase in tuition fees for something worth far less than it's ever been before. That is just complete bullshit.

Machiavellianism is not intrinsically sociopathic, it is intrinsically tactical. Machiavellianism can have altruistic uses. All successful business men employ it to one degree or another. In fact, out of the dark triad, it's arguably the least sociopathic trait. Although mix it with psychopathy, and yes, you get psychopathic behaviour. All psychopaths are Machiavellian, but not all Machiavellian's are psychopaths. I'd argue narcissism, particularly grandiose narcissism (which women find incredibly seductive) to be far more sociopathic than Machiavellianism.

As a general FYI: most women today are narcissistic and Machiavellian. You have 2/3 DT chicks running around all over the place. The Machiavellianism is innate to them, it is instinctual rather than premeditated for many, although of course some show a conscious talent for the vocation. The narcissism is a product of feminism. Some of them are grandiose types, others are vulnerable types, but female ego/entitlement has never been quite so bad as it is today.

Not sure what you mean. OP argued that the government was out to get ALL males. I, on the other hand, was arguing the point that some alpha males support feminism because it neutralizes hordes of competition for them without them having to lift a finger. Guys they would normally have to deal with irritants are demoralized from the very beginning by feminist brainwashing the alpha never subscribed to in the first place. There ARE a lot of beta manginas who try to use feminism to get laid, and who fail miserably and wind up orbiters. However, there are also good looking Chad Thundercock types who also hypocritically espouse feminism, even as they use Don Draper style tactics. I've recently had this thought: Feminists are so successful because women are naturally adept at arguing things that make no sense. Have you ever had an argument with a woman over something stupid? Have you ever realized that it would be better not to argue with them in the first place?
