First of i do not know even how to write the title to reflect or express what i am thinking. please forgive me upfront if it doesn't make enough sense.

Last few months, i have involved my self more with ministry work, spread across different groups and churches. There are way more women doing this sort of work, therefore you meet more of them, connect with more etc.

I have have had some of the following occur:

  • several women ask me if i am coming back to the next term Bible course (these are women whom for the most part ignored me, or didn't talk much to me)

  • one in particular being so direct to ask about "us" (i had to decline and say we are not right for each other, but she said should would pray to God to get me to come and hang out with her every Sunday)

  • another asked me to pick them up and drop them off for the a Bible course (mind you, they do live 1 minute away from me, so no big deal for me)

  • another girl, when we did some street evangelism was like "hey lets sit in a bar for a bit... i'm tired" (of which we did, but i could not help thinking she wants alone time with me).

  • a girl from my Church, i started dropping off home, for another course i am doing, I've told her a few times "lets save the conversation for Sunday" (i need sleep as well), now started hanging out with me every Sunday after Church, and now looks forward to it (even told me once "were you hiding from me on Sunday" aka why didn't you approach me for coffee/lunch)

I feel like, there is such a potential for me to fall here. Mind you for me, i have historically had no women want to hang out on scale like this, seems a bit sudden all this at once. It's not like i have become RP Alpha dog overnight, i am just applying a few principles. (I am convinced STFU is the best and brightest, this alone is maybe 30-40% of the battle, maybe more).

How should i proceed (assuming with caution) and what should i keep doing or not doing? I don't think my frame is all there or perfect, but saying no and setting boundaries has been good.
