Last night the girl mentioned and I were talking after work, and eventually she decided to tell me how she really felt after everything. That she does want to move forward, but due to transitions in both our lives soon, she wants to wait for the dust to settle

Ok, what dust needs to settle? Is she in a relationship with someone else? Are you? What transitions are you talking about? You're being very vague here.

Unsure here what you mean as well. Do you mean a potential LTR with her, and you don't want that? Clarification needed.

She isn't as attracted to you as you think she is. Women will crawl over broken glass to try and lock down a guy they see as a stud.

Another possibility, beyond what u/rocknrollchuck has already suggested, is that she has another "fish on the line" (or two) and wants to wait to see if those pan out before going to the next step with you. You are plan B (or C, or D) and she gains a lot of security and feels for free by keeping you in orbit as a back up.

You are operating in her frame. What do YOU want out of this? You mention you don't want an LDR. Cool, LDRs are generally a terrible idea. So why are you even this entangled with this chick to begin with? I mean, you work together from the sounds of it, so how much of an LDR could it really be?

Details bro. You need to start posting details if you want help that isn't just guessing on our part.
