Hi All, Just wondering if anyone uses/can recommend any cooking and meal planning aps.

In the past couple of weeks I have been using SideChef (free version.) I like it pretty well, the recipes I have used so far have been tasty and easy to follow, and they seem fairly integrated with my Amazon Echo Show which I like to use in my kitchen while cooking and cleaning, but curious if anyone is using anything else they can recommend.

Pros of SideChef:

Easy to find and use recipes, sorted by intuitive categories

Allows you to set serving amounts

Allows you to schedule meals on a calendar for meal planning

Allows you to import your ingredient list for meals into a shopping list

Allows you to edit your shopping list to remove items that you already have and (sort of) add items that you need outside of recipe (more on that later)

Allows you to save recipes in a cookbook for later use

Cons:

Meal planner does not appear to allow for custom meals (for example, if I want to plan a meal that is outside of their recipe base)

Shopping list seems limited and not necessarily conducive to shopping outside of the items that they have listed in their database. I believe that this is because they integrate with Amazon shopping, so it's nice if you want to use Amazon shopping for your groceries, but I don't, so there isn't an option for some of the things I need to buy, meaning I have to maintain two shopping lists. First world problems, but in this case and the case above it would be really nice to just have a text option to not have to keep separate lists.
