I think chewing really counts though. It indicates good manners and discipline, along with delaying gratification (not speaking while chewing, for example). It’s also sometimes an indicator of health.

A big biological clue right there. Just another reason to have a nice meal on the first date!

Anddddd this is me. So many people eat like savages, smacking their mouths while chewing / eating too fast. I had housemates like this in the past and I used to say it was like feeding time at the zoo. Talking with their mouths full and almost choking on their food too. So yuck

No joke once I stopped seeing a guy because he tried to discreetly slide a blanket off a chair and onto the floor without me noticing. He was not discreet. I noticed. And it was like a switch was flipped off inside of me. Interested to not in 3.5 seconds

it's a meme but it's REAL. my nvm father chewed with his mouth open at every fucking meal and i yelled at him every time. to this day it is still something i REFUSE to put up with. chew with ya mouth closed!!! no one wants to see ur food!!!!
