Women's best friend changes every two years and just because I don't grope my friends every time we see eachother doesn't mean I'm not satisfied with the friendship.

I do feel like men friendships allow men to autistically sperg about man things with eachother in a way that women can't.

But usually phrases like "quality of these relationships" have female centric presumptions. Sure a lot of men would get funny looks if they opened up about "uhh my mental health is so bad right now," but men desire that from a romantic partner more than a friend.

Not my expierence. With a selected amount of male friends I can really open up about my darker sides judge free in a way I couldn't with most women.

Having said that: This is mostly because there is still a small spark of sexual attraction from the womens or my side with my female friends. Thus I may hurt them or they hurt me in this conversations. That doesn't exist with male friends as there is no attraction.
