Hi ladies! I wrote this replying to a post in r/ OffMyChest and realized i would love to have your opinion on my thoughts about this. I'm not argumentative with women online and I'll be happy to hear other views.

EdIT: I have been banned from r/ offmychest. They sent me no notifications, I am just forbidden from posting or replying, because Reddit hates women, of course.

I'll respect men when they actually start siding with rape victims instead of the rapists.

Hey guys, when I'm talking about being assaulted on the street, maybe talk to me about why society raises men to be this way and what we can do to stop it. Tell me about your friend who has a shitty attitude towards women and analyze what's wrong with his thinking. Talk to me about how the majority of porn shows women hating what's being done to them and is mainly about violating a woman's personal boundaries. Tell me about your pornbrained friend who can't have a normal discussion about a woman politician or actress without making it about her attractiveness or sexuality. How many guys do you know who started watching rape porn years before they every held a girl's hand?

Why don't you talk to us about hiw old you were the first time you watched violent rape porn and who showed it to you or who you showed it to, and what your guy friends said about it? And yeah, if you were 36 the firat time you watched violent rape porn, did you give any thought to the way that actress was treated on the set? How do you think she felt about it? What does it say about men that rape porn is an industry?

I'll believe the guy talking to me is actually a good person who thinks women are people too when they acknowledge the role socialization plays in women getting assaulted.

Lecturing me about "not all men" while not demonstrating any interest in WHY so many men are like that, and how "like that" is endemic in our culture says that you probably are like that. You think I give a fuck about "demonizing all men" and "giving guys a chance"? Guess what, men- that's your problem to fix, not mine.
