Can this please become reality? With all the sophisticated AI face and body metric algorithms in existence it should be plausible. If I could take the pieces of NVM that passed around my nudes at work to civil court, I’d pursue it and wouldn’t even waste my time on the broken criminal justice system. The threat of financial ruin for trying to ruin our reputations and careers would hopefully be enough to deter this kind of behaviour.

In Texas, a bill was passed making unsolicited dick pics illegal.

I'm not sure what the equivalent of that could possibly be for deepfakes, especially given the anonymity of the interwebs though.

It's not so much a gender issue, imho. Men will happily pass bills making that crap illegal if it's pushed enough.

The onus is always on women to set the boundaries.
