My exw did the same thing to me, just decided after kids that sex was no longer required. No discussion, no "teamwork", no marriage councilling to work through the issue....just flat out said one day "I no longer want to have sex so we're not doing it anymore". I could have found a way to live with that as I would have eventually found a side something to satisfy that side of my life, but she also cut off ALL affection too. No way was I going to live with someone who openly acted like I disgusted them. Often when I hear of these situations it's not really the sex that's the issue, it's the wife cutting out ALL affection, it's that which eventually kills the marriage. In my marriage my heart completely hardened towards her when even a peck on ther cheak was rejected. She said she didn't want to show affection in case I saw it as a come on....

If you cut out affection do not be surprised when your man strays/cheats or dumps your ass. The later in my case.
