My personal theory: Its a never ending uphill battle, get ripped wife adjust to that,become a F16 pilot on the weekends wife adjusts to that, get 200k a year wife adjust to that, get PhD wife adjust to that, get 500k a year wife adjust to that, get 10 20yo groupies following you around wife adjusts to that, that is why its important on focusing on yourself and what makes you happy, it might even be that your wife becomes the least attractive of your options.

Here's what you morons do:

You have the dream girl, you pursue her, lead the relationship, set the stage for a life for both of you and basically are at your best, most red-pilled self during the lead up. And it's hard work (though gratifying work) and it's close to exhausting, I should know.

It's also supremely attractive to your girl.

Then, you propose and get married. Then you let of the pedal a bit, you earned the prize, time to enjoy it. As unintuitive as it seems (and is) this makes her wonder what happened to her man.

Your job gets harder after the prize. You need to keep fucking with her, keep gaming her and never let her think you're comfy. Keep her nervous. So, in short you have only yourself to blame.

Marriage isn't the prize. Marriage just just made your journey more difficult. Half fail at this difficulty level, the ones that don't reap the very rewards you thought you were entitled to by virtue of, putting a ring on it.
