Typically, women are viewed as the selective sex and for good reason. A woman invests potentially a lot more into the consequences of sex than a man does, and things just happened to evolve this way. There is some degree of selectivity among men as well, but nowhere near the selectivity females show.

Most men will fuck a 5 just to bust a nut, then never want to see her again. Women will very rarely fuck a 5 if she truly views him as a 5 because women are programmed by nature to desire high value males.

But an interesting phenomenon is occuring with some men. Some men are being extremely selective, almost to the point of being as selective as a typical female. I feel that this is a relatively new phenomenon.

If you are a highly selective male, this means you are passing up on 5s, 6s, 7s, etc... regularly and going without sex in hopes of only banging 7+ females. This type of strategy does not lead to sexual abundance, unless you are an extremely high value male, something which 90% of us aren't.

This is a novel evolutionary adaptation. Only a select few men can adopt this type of mating strategy, what are the advantages it incurs? It lowers the risk of impregnating a low value female, and lowers the risk of contracting an STD are the obvious benefit to a man; but the hidden benefit is that it also pushes you to become the best man you can be. It forces the male to raise his SMV to the absolute max, because that's the only way to aquire top shelf pussy.

All of my life I have been overly selective for a male. This has lead to severe droughts, including being a virgin until 25, when my SMV was just too low to aquire females of the caliber which I desired. At the same time it pushed me to raise my SMV so that I could actually aquire the ultra high value females and when I did it was pretty awesome. I am curious if there are any other men on these boards that are similar to me and highly selective with women, perhaps even overly so.
