I have been talking to a guy who lives six hours away from me for about a month. We met online through an online group I like and we will have our first meet up next month. A meet up he arranged barely 2 weeks after our initial conversation. He’s fairly optimistic about us pursuing an LDR with me despite never meeting me. He’s 21 and I’m 18. He’s majoring in criminal justice and working full time. He has some IT experience, but isn’t avidly pursuing the field. He believes in two years I could eventually live with him as he believes he’d be settled by then. He talks about marriage and kids excessively.

Honestly his enthusiasm is off putting to me. I feel like it’s too soon and worry he’s just trying to get into my pants. I told him I don’t want to pursue a long distance relationship, but his enthusiasm honestly makes me wonder if I’ll be missing out on a good thing. Another part of me feels like he’s just attempting to groom me for sex. He’s sent me money and bought me two apple products as a gift. I can’t tell if he’s ideal and I’m being irrational or he’s a bit weird and I should’ve just listened to my intuition already.
