I've noticed most of the arguments against the Red Pill fall into 3 groups. This is my attempt to squash each of them.

  1. “Not All Women Are Like That!” (NAWALT)

The argument: You can’t generalize people, they are all different. People are a product of their genetics and their upbringing. No two people have the same DNA or upbringing; therefore there cannot be commonalities between them.

The truth: Of course not all people are identical. Of course not all women are like that. But enough are to form a pattern worth discussing. When discussing the difference between men and women it’s safe to say women are smaller than men. This generalization is accepted, because it’s true most of the time. The generalizations we discuss here are similar; true most of the time.

  1. “You’re bitter/jaded/angry/misogynistic”

The argument: You were hurt by a woman so you are trying to hurt women.

The truth: This is an Ad Hominem argument. You are attacking the arguer not the argument. Don’t do this. If you want to discuss these issues, discuss these issues. My past/feelings have no relevance on my argument. My emotional state does not validate, nor invalidate, my argument.

  1. “It is not us vs. them”

The argument: Women are just living their lives. They are not strategizing, or gaming, men. Women are conditioned by society to behave the way they do. There is not a secret society of women making decisions.

The truth: This is intellectual weakness. This is the same argument as the one for creationism. Humans are programmed to look for cause and effect. The Red Pill sees an effect, and attempts to explain the causes. Weak people automatically assume the effect is consciously controlled. Just like evolution deniers, these people cannot see how culture could evolve over a period of time by small unplanned steps. If you think of portions of cultures as genes (memes) you can begin to understand how culture can evolve. The easiest example would be to look at leading ladies in movies. Watch movies from the 20s and 30s and compare them to today to see how far a women’s role has changed.

I’m getting annoyed by seeing the same arguments against the Red Pill over and over. I’d welcome an intelligent discussion that contradicts the knowledge here that does not rely on any of the above 3 fallacies. I’d also like people to stop responding to people that make one of the above arguments, just link to this thread.
