It's "salaam Alaykum" (peace be with you ) and the religious answer is " wa Alaykum salaam " (and may be peace be u to you )
Non Muslims almost never say this. Instead they use "Marhaba " ( hello") or " (maher salaam - may you have peace ) - used as a non-Islamic farewell
As salaam Alaykum is a religious (Arabic) greeting specifically in Islam.

Each country is diff and yes, she is a westernized ex Muslim trying to marry (nikah) Muslim most likely as Daddy (who pays for her, and traditionally in Mideast women (of all religious ) aren't allowed to leave their Fathers HOME and - and thus do what they want - until they marry a man and go under his roof. So the fact that she is ex Muslim is a secret to her fam, and this is an act of rebellion. Her father (and her brothers both older and younger as well as any uncle) are her guardians (wali) And their job is to fuck up any guy trying to look, rape, flirt, or rob her .. But also to keep her from being slutty or being "seduced" by guys. So daddy has ultimate say in who she can marry as marriage is a union of the families. Not just individuals as it is in the west. I really like and respect the patriarchal aspects of the Mideast. I'm jealous that men in the west have lost their power while men in the Mideast have far more social and familial power and many of their women still pride themselves on being good Wives first, good mothers, and putting out often for their men.
Most of my friends are also xtian and Muslim men, and they are naturally redpilled as it is taught in their families and by society. Syrians especially. Now as soon as women hit the west most try hard to fit in and by trying to suck down more cock than the local swedes and assimilate more cock in their twats than the other. But they gotta hide it from their fams. Religion and daddies that don't hesitate to keep their fam in line with a heavy hand and a rule of NO MaLe friends is what keeps many women in line.
