I mean you can't inhibit masculine behavior with decades of feminism and still expect to be seduced by assertive, confident men.

Maybe also men prefer to shut the fuck up because :

men are more comfortable with silence than women. Old group hunting behavior, FOX-P2 gene etc. Men don't enjoy gossip or small talk, at least not nearly as much as women do.
men are not sure about what they can and can not say to a woman these days without risking jail or something.
when a man is attracted by a woman, sometimes he enjoys listening to her. Women have a pleasant voice and it's part of their charm.
It takes a lot of practice to learn how to entertain a woman by just talking to her. This means that men who master this art are usually players, or Chads. Is that the kind of man she wants?

Basically, she doesn't like shy men. Too bad that's the kind of men society wants most. Because they are obedient, they work hard and don't cause trouble. Oh and of course, they don't fuck around, that is they don't break women's hearts.

I'm not very quiet around men but around gregarious women (and how many aren't) I am pretty quiet just because I want SOME silence. If women would just tone down their need to talk and learn to enjoy silence interspersed with conversation they might find quiet men have a lot to say. Tons of men hate a constant avalanche of speech noise.

I have a theory regarding the "follower" type men. They are not necessarily unable to make decisions, they simply do not care about details such as the type of restaurant or local venue to hang around and converse. This nonchalant attitude may appear to be indecisive or a lack of leadership that she may crave, but it does not mean he lacks the capability to make decisions.

I believe it was a Wintery Knight post that I read how women have become unwilling to accept a man's role in leadership. This leads to the frustrating cases where a man suggests a restaurant and the woman states she does not want to go there despite previously claiming to be indecisive herself or not caring what the choice was. So right or wrong, there are men who have adopted an attitude where they just don't have must investment in the decisions they make, because why would you make a choice when it is most likely going to be the "wrong" one.

The question remains, would this woman respect the man's role as a leader, or would she just make the man's experience miserable by her annoyance that he made the "wrong" choice. The thing is, we men do not know whether or not an individual woman is going to have this sort of attitude or not, so many men just choose to preempt any scorn for his decisions.

When I was out being a real piece of shit, I was fucking at least once a week. Just picking up women from bars and smashing them open. Even the ones who called me "fuck boy" and "piece of shit" were in my car with their panties around their ankles at the end of the week.

I got tired of it, and decided to quit drinking, and calm my ass down. Now, I don't so much as get a text message from these women who were so easy to fuck.

I'm not bummed about it, because I know that I will ALWAYS be able to fuck 35-40 year olds every day for the rest of my life if I want to. I'm just taking the time to work on myself (I'm reading and working on my cooking/baking).
