It is a common understanding in the manosphere that the current social mores are because of the sexual revolution, the pill and the power of unfettered hypergamy thanks to online dating (among other things). Dalrock, however, makes a very convincing point that Child support plays a very vital role in this as well.

Although feminists proudly proclaim that women do not need men, this is not true. The feminist dream of having it all is only complete when said feminist can fuck around in school and college, kick ass in her career, settle down to build a family, divorce rape the guy when she gets bored and go back to finding true love. However hard feminists try to deny it, locking down a man (a high value man at that) is part and parcel of the feminist dream. Without it, the dream can never be complete.

Women who never get married are viewed as losers by fellow women. While men play at the sexual market, women play at the commitment market. Your value on both is determined not only by the quantity (think orbiters and ugly lays) you can get, but also the quality (think Alpha bucks and model tier wives). This is why women who never get married are the pariahs among women. They failed at the one metric that measures their true worth: commitment from a worthy man.

Now, although this commitment is highly sought after, this is also easily disposable. Getting commitment is considered to be a woman's problem. Keeping it, in marriage these days, is considered to a man's problem. After all, a woman can simply make the excuse that they grew apart or that he did not work hard enough outside of his home and in his home (to keep her queenliness happy) or that he never was mature enough for her or that he was abusive. This is made possible by child support.

Child support not only encourages women to throw away her family, it is one of the driving factors in why women even choose to date the way they do. The very concept of child support is to remove the influence and the authority of a man in the family whilst making sure he still has the financial obligation and responsibility of paying for the child (which may or may not be his) and the frivolous female that he married.

It is mentioned in the documentary "Divorce Corp" (a film every man must watch before he dares to think about marriage) that child support can be even more daunting than alimony itself. While the entire model is based on what is "best for the child", no one really knows how this is determined. What is best for your child might just be your wife's lawyer convincing her to make your divorce into a contentious case to get cash and prices. Or it might just be your wife falsely accusing you of child sexual abuse to get the upper hand and the sole custody of the children. Or it might be the court ordering you to only visit your child when there is a paid (by you) professional there to supervise your interaction with your child. Or it might be the court ordering you to pay 80% of the highest income (no, not your current income) you've ever earned as child support forcing you to live in poverty. It could very well be all of the above. And remember, the good Samaritan family court gets a commission out of everything. And if you fail to pay a single payment thanks to this draconian practice, you will be held in contempt and thrown in jail. All for the good of the child, of course.

Without child support, women will no longer be able to detonate their families with complete confidence like they now do. It is a known fact that whoever gets the child in the divorce is going to be the winner. Needless to say, this is the woman almost 90% of the time. You see, a child is supposed to grow up with its mother. As God intended it to be. Where would we be without these traditional family values?

Without child support, women will be forced to choose men who stick with their family for dating much earlier in their life. They will have a clear choice to make. They can either choose to go after the chads or they can choose to get a man who would take care of the family. And without child support, such a man would be able to demand loyalty and authority to go with his responsibilities. Any woman who chooses to go after the chads will be rejected by said man.

There are about 11 million single parent families in the US1. About 81% of this are headed by women. These are women who either kicked out their husbands or went after chads in the hopes of locking him down through the kids. All of them receive child support in one way or another. It is because of this assurance these women feel confident in not only going after chads but also engaging in foolish attempts to lock them down. Mother's day will be upon us soon. And no doubt, there will be an attempt to praise these paragons of virtue. While the entire internet is busy masturbating to this noble notion that Mothers are the most precious things on planet Earth, almost none of the current mothers deserve any praise. They will be awarded high praise because they just happened to get pregnant a few times in their frequent leg openings. While the whole world will be in titters worshiping mothers, we are quietly doing away with the fathers (thanks to Child support). And no one cares.

1 This is not to say anything about women who divorced and get remarried or worst of all, divorced women who live with another man. These are not counted to be single parent families, by the way. It is proven that this is a pedophile magnet and these boyfriends are the worst child sex offenders there are, but who cares about that? Didn't we do a good job of making sure the mother did not need her husband? That was empowering, wasn't it?
