I was wondering, how does one not let the bitterness, the anger take over when you read the posts on this subreddit? Because I went through the top posts of the subreddit, and it made me so angry. Reading posts about the many "reformed" Carols who decide to settle for a not so attractive guy purely for his status and money? They themselves admit this, never praising the guy for his physical attributes that are attractive that makes her insatiable but always things like "kindness", "good hearted" and "good with money", etc. Am I supposed to just sit back and enjoy the decline?

(I did not want to make a separate thread or post about it, and this harsh realization post seemed as good as any to ask a question.)

The sad truth is that the nice guy she settles for deserved better than he got. By late 20s virtually all semi-attractive women have had multiple partners and an inhibited ability to truly bond with or even respect a genuinly decent man--husband matetial.

That great nice guy "7" you could have had at 28, morphs into you settling for a "4" at 38 because you were too picky and the dating pool got flipped in men's favor.

That's the real harsh truth for women. I see this everyday at my office where the big swinging dicks all have girlfriends 10-20 (yes, 20) years younger than them.
