I know you're trolling and stuff, but that's a stupid analogy. Sex isn't a need, yes, neither is jumping with a parachute, driving a car/bike, doing sport etc. People get injured all the time and people often choose to have risks for their own fun and pleasure. We don't stop treating them because they're themselves to blame for their injuries.

Do you really want to incentivize women to claim they were raped if they want an abortion? If you make it very difficult to get an abortion for people who were not raped and allow rape survivors to get an abortion, that is exactly what you're doing.

When I was like 11 years old, one of my internet friends from the Sailor Moon forums told me about The Silent Scream and abortion. I think she expected me to be horrified bc killing babies but I was actually so relieved to know that if you get pregnant, you have ONE LAST CHANCE TO NOPE OUT OF THAT SHIT.

It's better to not need an abortion, absolutely. In a perfect world, women wouldn't need it- ever! But, if you look closely, you'll see there are shitty men who are not rapists. Those men don't need to be granted the opportunity to fuck with a kid's life for 18+ years. There are men who will put on a good act before getting a woman pregnant, only to change their ways RIGHT after the first sign of a missed period. There is a whole society in which raising a child is extremely hard to do well on one's own. We live in a very crap world. I think an abortion would traumatize me for life- I would hate to do that more than even you would know. I used to ask myself the same questions you now ask. But the truth is, life sometimes sucks, and you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm sitting in a broken down RV right now alone on New Year's Day, poor and at least temporarily jobless. Shit happens. It's shit, but it happens.

Abortion isn't subsidized so why not let us abort? Let me pay for my own abortion.

Abortion is good for society. If a woman wants to abort, she knows that she couldn't raise the child in a healthy environment. She wouldn't be a good mother. Do you want more children growing up like that? If you think that restricting abortion will make people stop having sex when they arent ready for children than you're delusional.
