I don't get where's the problem. If she wants to keep driving to come see you, let her do so. You can drive to her once for every 2-3 times she does you. Keep seeing other girls. LTR / plate status is irrelevant.

Dude, an hour really isn’t that bad. I wouldn’t even consider that long distance. My LTR and I are an hour apart and we’ve made it work no problem for almost two years now. She drives to see me most of the time, and every once in a while I will drive her way.

I would demote because LTRs are imaginary friends. She could also lose some interest if she ever goes out and guys within closer proximity give her interest at all. Take it from many men who have lived the experience... LTR girls may get interest from other dudes in closer proximity and it will drive the relationship to a point where it isn't workable. I'm not saying that "will" happen, but it could, and I don't consider it worth the risk when you're 1. Under 30, 2. Have other options and 3. ...You just said you in college homie.

Typically, if you have to ask the question, you need to go with your gut.

a temp move of an hour apart is not LDR to me. it's just a bit more free time to work on yourself.

get housed in 6 weeks, lose 2-3% BF and have fun. even if you only see her weekly, who cares. 2-3x / week will be tougher and may be unrealistic. even in LTRs where we were 15 min apart, when busy, i would only see them 1x a week.

Depends on how often you want to see her. If you're cool with seeing her 1-2 times a week, what's the big deal?
